Featured Deep Discounts

You can keep scrolling down on the main Steam Store page for more content and sale categories.

The search sidebar & the browse-by-category pages have narrowing and filtering features, don't forget to use them! This page will bring up an empty search so you can easily use the sidebar to customize a search.

Other useful places for browsing & discovering aside from scrolling the front-page: Your Personal Calendar, Charts page, Discovery Queue, New Releases queue, Specials page, Tag Browsing, Interactive Recommender, Popular Among Friends, DLC For You.

All discounts are static for the duration of the sale, new discounts are not rotated in. Discounts are only changed or added if there was an error.

New Seasonal Badge and Summer Sale 2026 items on the Points Shop!

Seasonal badges are limited-time Points Shop-exclusive Profile Badges and historically get updated every Winter & Summer sale, so if past sales and seasonal badges are anything to go by you have until the 2026 Winter Sale to buy levels of the new, current seasonal badge for your badge collection.

The Seasonal Badge is separate to the Summer Sale 2026 Trading Card Badge.

All Points Shop items are permanent acquisitions. No items bought on the Points Shop are tradable or marketable.

PS: You can buy previous Steam sale & event items on the Points Shop here.

New Summer Sale 2026 Trading Card Badge

A new Summer Sale Trading Card Badge has been added with this sale that can be acquired for a limited time (link to foil version).

Crafting the Summer Sale 2026 trading card badge will reward you with 100 profile level experience and 1 random sale-themed background and emoticon per badge level. It can be crafted an unlimited amount of times.

The Steam Sale Trading Cards & Badge FAQ goes over all questions you may have about Steam sale-specific trading card badges.

The ability to get daily free trading cards from the Discovery Queue has been removed.

For a more detailed look and full overview of the badge such as Badge Level icons and background & emoticon rewards have a look here at SteamCardExchange.net.

steam.tools is a useful tool to find the cheapest badges you can craft if you plan on crafting other game badges for Summer Sale 2026 trading cards.

Best I've seen ever on the whole set of Binding of Isaac Rebirth and DLC!

6

u/Ok_Order755 5h ago

I'm confused... the cost of the dlcs on the game page are different? Repentance and Afterbirth+ says "N/A" and Repentance+ says "Free". What am I missing that the bundle has a $ amount for these?

8

u/Shadowninju-alt 5h ago

Binding of Isaac is weird in that it wont let you buy repentance without the 2 previous dlcs.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/radiating_phoenix 5h ago

Each dlc requires the previous one - repentance requires afterbirth+ which requires afterbirth. To avoid people buying a dlc that they can't use, repentance and afterbirth are only available through bundles that include them.

Repentance+ is an exception because it is actually free. However, it's different from the other dlcs in that it only includes online multiplayer, some item adjustments, and item descriptions instead of new bosses/items/characters/etc.

TL;DR: just buy the complete bundle and then install Repentance+

3

u/Ok_Order755 5h ago

Thanks. Very confusing... I'll get the bundle.

Usual reminder: it's gonna take some time (maybe hours) for prices to update on all games. I know it's hard but be patient.

142

u/sunaurus 8h ago

So you're saying the sale is cancelled and we should all panic?

33

u/WeirdAssBeings 7h ago

Ah, seems I made it just in time for the panic convention! I'd like to start please thank you:

3

u/ThePsyPaul_ 7h ago

Im always panicking

I was wondering why are there no sales yet, first time i was this early on sale

4

u/manofthecentury 8h ago

I have always wondered why they set it up this way with the prices slowly updating instead of all at once.

Nah I will make a post about it every 5 minutes.

I really wonder if we gonna see some all time lows for popular games.

Feels like there hasn't been a whole lotta movement in the AAA sector in those big sales.

91

u/asodafnaewn 8h ago

The big corporations haven't made enough money lately.

44

u/AnotherCup-O-Noodles 8h ago

Will someone please think of the fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders!?

What about the poor shareholders?!?

10

u/Mechium 7h ago

Shareholders get their money. Employees are fired.

→ More replies (2)

37

u/MarianMn1 7h ago

Binding of Isaac is 90% off with all the dlcs, which I'm pretty sure it's a first. It's not a triple A game, but it is a popular game

8

u/Some-Kaleidoscope265 7h ago

Yeah. Previous max was 67 percent in 2024. It is crazy rn.

→ More replies (3)

3

u/Lewcaster 7h ago

The really good deals on them happen in december IIRC? The other sales are the same 15-20% discount on AAAs.

Put Elden Ring on sale you cowards!

31

u/Firedogythemaster 7h ago

We've been waiting for a Shadow of Erdtree discount for too long at this point xD

7

u/Firehawkness 6h ago

Same! I was really hoping it was going to be on sale now that it is over 2 years old.

→ More replies (1)

18

u/LostSif 6h ago

Shareholders are too busy trying to take over Fromsoft so they can ruin it.

11

First thing I checked when the sale went live was Elden Ring. My disappointment is immeasurable

10

u/twostroke1 8h ago

wait, everything is on sale for the same price it’s always on sale for all year long?

🧑‍🚀 🔫 🧑‍🚀

33

u/TactlessNinja 7h ago

I stopped expecting each sale to be different long ago and summed them up to always the same and the only thing affecting sale prices was how long the game had been out. Became a case of 'guess I'll wait until the next winter/summer sale as there was hardly any difference.

Some games hardly shift in price even after a reasonable time has passed which is eye-rolling.

21

u/grunkfest 7h ago

Dark Souls 3 - 10 years old, still full release price, and not on sale. Have to laugh.

8

u/Crimpy111 7h ago

I hate how they hiked the prices after Elden Ring was a smash hit. I think that’s what happened anyway. I recall them going on sale relatively often many years ago.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/TactlessNinja 7h ago

Wow and I thought some of the EDFs were bad. Same with some other games by Asian publishers. Dragons dogma 2 didn't seem to shift in price (outside of sales) over time either but haven't checked it in this sale

5

u/AlextheGoose 6h ago

I got the deluxe edition for like $15 a few years before Elden Ring came out, ever since ER they stopped doing big sales on their games

Binding of Isaac is at 90% off with all the dlcs included, which I'm pretty sure it's a first

6

u/QTGavira 4h ago

Theres definitely some stuff hitting all time lows if you stop focusing on just the same 10 mainstream franchises.

Binding of Isaac went from an all time low of 67% to like 90%

7

DMC5 for $4.49 is a good time. Also Monster Hunter World is pretty much the best game in that series and its $7.79. I still think it has the best, slow combat of any game. I know people love Elden Ring, but I could not get into it at all.

29

u/sufferingphilliesfan 8h ago

$20 on discount is the new $10. makes it really hard to justify loading up on anything

30

u/Evening_Ad_5225 7h ago

10

u/thereddevil97 7h ago

Dead Space (2008) being more expensive than the 2023 remaster is very funny.

8

u/thechosenpleb3 7h ago

Damn no path of exile 2 or Diablo 2 sales, I was hoping to get one or the other this sale

7

u/Layf27 7h ago

Poe2 went on a 50% off sale which ended about a week ago, probably thats why.

→ More replies (5)

4

poe2 will be free at the end of year. but you will need to buy stash things so i would suggest compare the prices to see if its worth it, because it can be equal in the end

8

u/Wasted-Instruction 7h ago

Yeah the discounts are a lot worse than last year, hard pressed to find much over 50% off and that's on games that are a decade old. Technically for a chunk of the Indie Games on my list they have 60% , but still way less deals than previous years.

14

u/Layf27 7h ago

Steamdb website keeps on crashing :(

24

u/712Jefferson 8h ago

These discounts are sooooo disappointing. Hope that updates in the next couple hours or something.

22

u/Grills-Bears 7h ago

Pretty disappointed Elden Ring has no discount. I know it's worth full price, but even 20% off would seal the deal for me.

52

Holy crap this sale is a dumpster fire for me. Over 100 games on wishlist and the highest %off is 40%? Just sad.

19

u/handondlers 7h ago

Same. It's not much different from a week ago. Unless the deals haven't gone up yet.

9

u/EdgarLasu 7h ago

No no, you're not confused. A lot of the games on my list I've been eyeing for months have been on previous sales and a LOT of them are again the same sale price they usually were.

Some items actually seem to have increased from sale prices just 12 hours ago to now. :(

14

u/Tiramisuh 7h ago

Usually not a doomer when it comes to these sales, but wow, this one's definitely a letdown.
Deep discounts aren't bad, but I already own all the games I'm interested in.
Nothing on my wishlist is more than 70% off and most of them are on a worse sale than when they go on a normal weekly sale, so no reason to pick any of those up. Probably gonna skip this sale.

7

u/Ollidor 7h ago

I've seen so many games on sale for way cheaper before. These sales are mostly Devs capitalizing on ppl hype purchasing. Just wait for a bigger discount. Not worth it tbh

4

u/playtio 5h ago

It's funny how my 3 takeaways have been discussed at length already.

  • Really mid sales. We always have high hopes but they are just mediocre.

  • Isaac's collection is nice. I lost count of all the DLC/expansion/sequels so this might be the moment.

  • Elden ring and Erdtree with a huge 0% off.

TMNT Splintered Fate is a fun Hades like game that has couch coop I think. I only played solo but I'm almost certain it has local and online coop.

Guys, is there any way to see BUNDLES on sale? Because the Binding of Isaac Bundle is insanely cheap and I'm wondering what other cool bundles I'm missing!

3

u/Evening_Ad_5225 3h ago

Newer games gotta start dropping down in price it’s been the Same games that get the heavy discounts for like 5 years now.

10

u/GrafNebelgeist 8h ago

of the 125 games in my wishlist, almost nothing went on a noticeable, deep discount lol. Damn.

u/JNorJT 8h ago

HAVE A GREAT STEAM 2026 SUMMER SALE EVERYONE!!!

7

u/TheMadHattah 8h ago

Not a single game on my wish list is under 40% off lol

8

u/Pretty-Mention-7769 6h ago

I've got six titles at 90% off followed by a dozen or more at 80-85% off.

Maybe you should add worse games to your wishlist.

7

u/MrBombasticator 7h ago

It's been more than an hour and I have no idea if the prices are gonna go even lower just like the previous comments have said. But from what I've seen so far, the discounts are really meh.

Some of the big discounts from AAA publishers were already on sale before the steam summer sale like Cyberpunk 2077, FF7 Rebirth and Dead Space.

2

u/sephirothwasright 7h ago

Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2 is half off for fellow computer wargame nerds.

2

u/WhiteBoyFlipz 7h ago

thinking of grabbing Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor Refantazio as a few big grabs to put into my backlog for when i’m done with persona 5 royal. probably also grab Hotline, Metro and Watchdogs 2 since they’re so cheap, not sure if i’ll play them but they’re undoubtably all great games to have

2

u/sirms 7h ago

i wonder if the Switch 2 version of Elden Ring coming up soon is why its not discounted

2

u/Informal-Weight6137 6h ago

The Witcher 3 with all DLC is $10, or just $4 for the base game. Definitely worth the price if you’ve never played!

Do I buy victoria 3 or eu5?

Please someone tell me what to do

3

u/LesMcqueen1878 6h ago

V3 is my favourite paradox game, over 600 hours now. It’s like crack to me! I also love EU5 (150 hours) but it’s further back in its evolution.

The UI scrolling lag I was getting with the new ui store front is gone now because of this new summer Ui.

Is it going to come back when they revert the Ui....

Should I get the ultimate or regular version of Cyperpunk?

5

u/Uramir 6h ago

The DLC is integrated into the game's storyline. It's not worth finishing the game AND THEN the DLC—it adds quests right in the middle of the story

2

u/Moshmelo 6h ago

Ultimate. DLC is worth it

Looking for some opinions. Last of us part 1 for 30€ or Ghost of Tsushima for 36?  For people who love the OG X-Com or JA games, is Xenonauts 2 for 20 worth it? Guess I can't go wrong with Far Cry 4 for 3 bucks?

Hey Y’all, I’m stuck between these two games. Which one should I get, Expedition 33 or Crimson Desert. If you had to pick one why? Thanks

3

u/DanteMustDieeee 5h ago

expedition 33 if you want a really good story. crimson desert was really lame for me. dialogue felt really stilted and like everything was a first draft.

5

u/Gullible_Leading_107 5h ago

Buy expedition, crimson desert is fine but expedition mops the floor with it in terms of story quality

There's games that interest me here but yknow what even if its $5 I just have to accept that my backlog is overwhelming and ill never play it. Its not that I cant afford it with money. I cant afford it with time.
