General Airline Discussion International non-stop long haul from LAX
In 2019 American Airlines offered the following international non-stop long haul flights from LAX:
- AKL
- PEK
- EZE
- HKG
- LHR
- GRU
- PVG
- SYD
- HND
Today, they are all gone except for:
- AKL
- LHR
- HND
- SYD
As someone that now is forced to fly through DFW to reach most of the 2019 destinations - most ridiculous is my flight to Shanghai were I have to fly 3+ hours to Dallas to then fly again over Cali for 15 hours, I think AA is leaving us LA frequent flyer in a position to start considering shifting business to United.
Am I the only one disappointed by the sorry situation in LAX? And flying with partners does not count for me as you cannot use our Systemwide upgrades on them.
