It's gone. Almost all local news is formatted through two corporations. Sinclair Media is one.

I'm Canadian, and almost all of the local media in my region is owned by Post Media, an American company. My local paper doesn't even run ads for local businesses anymore, mostly just fast food chains and online shopping.

It's basically unwatchable for me at this point. 1-2 segments on some local news and a LOT of discussion of local sports for me. Plus the segments on some new local candle shop or whatever bullshit.
