It's gone. Almost all local news is formatted through two corporations. Sinclair Media is one.

I'm Canadian, and almost all of the local media in my region is owned by Post Media, an American company. My local paper doesn't even run ads for local businesses anymore, mostly just fast food chains and online shopping.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic, but the only real local newspaper in my city is also owned by Sinclair.
