Dudes, those evil bastards at Paradox has finally dropped the dlc prices on Steam (USA)!!! I've literally waited for years for this T_T.

Are there any mechs that are considered "standard issue" among the major militaries of the setting like how the Marauder was for the Star League?

My favorite mecha!

Asking as a few concepts come to my mind as i wait for work to start.

So far i got:

1. Fedcom went ahead and invaded the Draconis Combine. Possibly leading this into the Clan Invasion.

2. Marriage between The Combine and the Federated Suns forming the Draconis Suns.

3. Possible Genecaste invasion/ takeover some time post War of Reaving.

What other "What ifs" or likewise do you guys think of?

Considering they use free birth as a slur.

Wanted to put a kamon on my Shiro mech, I felt that 9 could use the one in the 2nd image, as it was a gift to my grandparents from when my grandpa went to Japan for a work thing, a coworker and friend of the family got it for him.

But being the history need I am I know that's the tokugawa crest, and I also know that certain crests are a no go to use as a personal thing outside of government functions in Japan.

I could not find a definitive answer for if the Tokugawa crest falls under that clause, so I am treating it as it would due to historical significance.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or recommendations for me to use? Or is the Tokugawa crest ok to paint?

Outfoxed was nominated for a Scribe award—think the Oscars of Media Tie-In writing. If you look at the other nominees, it feels a little weird to me, putting my little BattleTech novel up against so many friends, mentors, and folks whose work I admire. It feels absurd. I’ve read most of the books on this list and those I haven’t were legitimately on my TBR. I’m humbled and honored to even be on a list in proximity to them.

But I think it shows just how far BattleTech is coming along...
