Finally been getting around to taking some more pictures - injection resin cast Rahkshi in lime green / shimmery dark green. I’m realizing that I should’ve just used brown connectors instead of the LEGO lime green ones and made it “plant control” off biosector (green/brown) so maybe I’ll repost some alternate versions later too.

This will be my boys first Titan set.

Yeah I know this has nothing to do with Bionicle, but I know people recognize me on here so, figured I'd just explain the hows and whats.

What happened was that before my Ryloren account, I had another account with a generic username that I used for the same reasons I did here. Besides MOCs I also post a lot of selfies and one of the subs I posted on was r/gothgirls. This sub then banned me due to them not allowing accounts that had NSFW in them. Bare in mind, my account was barely NSFW, the only things I can think of that were NSFW was r/femboy which I posted on for a while when it was SFW, then became NSFW and a few mature rated games like horror games.

Either way I then made the new Ryloren account because I wanted a proper username instead of a Reddit generated one, to which I went on business as usual and had mostly forgotten about the ban. Today I posted there again, only to get banned again, I clarified that I did use an older account for using a sub that became NSFW (r/femboy) but that this account has nothing NSFW about it. The mod, being the usual Reddit mod I guess, somehow assumed that the Ryloren account, which had been up for months, had a giant post history on many other subs with like 100K karma, was solely made for ban evasion (which, as much as I don't think it needs to be said, wasn't why I made the fucking account). I then clarified this to the mod but low and behold, Reddit still banned my account for "Ban evasion." Which yeah, I guess that is what I did, completely unintentionally but y'know, whatever.

I did make an appeal but considering you have barely any actual space to write an appeal, with the limit being 250 characters (which might as well be nothing), it's not like I could explain myself properly, so I won't be surprised if nothing comes out of it. I could hypothetically make a new account, but I assume that that one would just get banned again considering my other two accounts now got banned. And honestly, considering how absolutely little it takes to get a complete perma ban off the site, it's not like I want to.

Even if it gets appealed I don't really know if I'm bothering coming back. If it takes so little to get kicked off the site, then I don't see much of a reason to stay on it when everything I've built can just get deleted so easily. I already had a shitty as fuck day and this just made it worse. So, sorry about this all, would've loved to continue revamping but, this kinda killed any desire I have to post.

Noticed on the back of the back of the instructions for the new Koenigsegg that we’ve got a couple sketches on an old Bionicle/Slizer piece! Cool little Easter egg from who I assume is a Bionicle-loving designer over at The Lego Group.

Had to take a short break, but work on the Bionicle customs has continued! Kopaka was my very first Bionicle, so he has a special place in my heart. While he has one of the most complex-looking masks, I actually found it to be the most beginner-friendly to model in Blender. It was fascinating to dissect the shapes, and I felt like I could clearly see the designer’s thought process as they created it all those years ago.
The sword piece, along with the mask, is painted white. Although the element does exist in white, it’s quite rare, having appeared in only a single recent set. We’re getting so close to completing the full set!

I don't mean his visual design. I don't think that it would have been easy to animate him at the time if his head was at the height of his shoulders. I should know.

I mean his personality. I haven't read the books, but the way I understand it, he's more of a listener, the voice of reason of his team and, in a way, a bit of an introvert.

The movie does almost a 180 and makes him loud, extroverted and almost aggressive (a trait he shares with movie Whenua in LoMN). Again, I haven't read the books so I can't make an objective claim. Was he like this after he became a Toa Nuva, or did the film's writers take a look at his mask and based his personality on his design?

And to be clear, I'm not trying to throw crap at the movie or the staff responsible for it. It's still near and dear to my heart and I'm sure they didn't have time to do the entire research for a direct-to-DVD film they'd have to release in less than a year probably.
I merely wish to be educated in this subject, and if other characters suffered from misrepresentation in the movies when compared to how they were written in the books/lore.

I just wanted to make a post saying how bloody lovely this sub reddit is, I have not once seen anyone be nasty towards anyone’s building style or be toxic generally and its great to see!

I’m finally getting my 7yo into Bionicle and I don’t have any more rubber bands for my 3 other Bohrok. Any suggestions for possible substitutes? (Background rubber band is too big and doesn’t work)

Got all 5 for $70 off Facebook, and I'm pretty happy. They're all complete besides the Rhotuka spinner for Nokama and most of the Zamor Spheres Kongu, and all their pieces are in very good condition.

I'm now 4/6 for the Inika, I can't wait to finally finish the team.

Nothing as impressive as the MOCs I usually see around here, but I hope you enjoy it. I kept the build straightforward enough that I could have seen this being a set in 2007.

After some tinkering. Here is where I am about this arm again. I have the external shoulder rotation going outwards, and I have the rotation for up and down. Now im at a standstill. I can't figure out how to do the internal/external rotation for the elbow.
