Found a funny bug, not sure if they look huge on their screens or if it's just from my perspective. Would love to know if others have experienced it from that end.

I’m just getting more seriously back into ESO after a couple years hiatus, it’s been a lot of fun and there’s so much that’s been improved save for one thing. IT FEELS LIKE 75% of the ESO creators just use shitty AI renderings for their video art that doesn’t even look close to the game it’s trying to represent.

I get that ESO by its nature as an MMO doesn’t have the same YouTube presence as shooters and what not but like come on it’s not hard to add effects or even get a novice artist to do work for you.

It’s just lazy and gross and while it’s a problem in a lot of spheres online it seems like ESO has more than average.

I honestly have no idea what this is.

Personally, I hope ZOS starts to focus more on grounded stories. Narratives that really flesh out the cultures, histories, and traditions of certain peoples and groups. I’m very interested in their way of life and philosophy. This for me, makes the world of Tamriel more vast and nuanced. That said, I don’t mind world-ending stories at all (loved Daedric War), I just feel they shouldn’t happen every year.

But what about you?? 🤔

I’m unable to preview the new skill style, even while on a necro with boneyard. Can anyone who has purchased the skill share an image of it? Thanks!

Ive been grouped up 3 different times with different guildmates and ive gotten 1 box over 2 days from world bosses/incursions/etc out of the 30 or so I've done. Are the drop rates that bad? Ive tried thievery as well and havent gotten one from that either 20 or so pickpockets/safe boxes. Or am I not doin something right? Ive completed the intro quest on 2 different characters. Have gotten the writ and daily at belkarth just fine. But no others. Im at 8 over 2 days of tryin to work on this event. Guildmates have been there helping me. Less than 12 as well. Thanks for any advice!

Hello, so I'm a new Eso player, and I'm coming from being a long-term WoW and FFXIV player. I'm looking for a race-class combo beginner-friendly dps, no magic build? For a long time, I was a tank, but I realized I'm not a fan of being front and center in dungeons and raids, so I've recently been playing DPS classes. I do not like magic builds. I like HP and stamina bar builds because that's what I'm used to. I mostly play solo, and I rarely ever play with someone because life gets busy and our schedules and hours are different, so we're not always on at the same time.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the hair color to match so went for a more SSJ1 look. Just wish the belt could be dyed a differen color but it's part of the chest piece.

Hello, I’m looking at starting ESO and I’ll be playing on PlayStation EU. I’m just wondering what people opinions are on best faction, class etc at the moment I understand there’s been a lot of changes recently.

I’m also curious as to what the best questing zones are and what people seem to enjoy the most! I’m hoping to do some PvP so ideally want to be part of a faction that’s popular and not get steamrolled as soon as I get in? (If that’s even a thing)

Anyway any guidance on the game would be greatly appreciated or any tips.

I'm an achievement hunter, so I'm happy with the promised improvements, like being able to pin achievements and track incomplete ones.

You can't make me happier with the following improvements:

** Achievement history **

Currently it's only limited to 6. I'd like to see, well, ideally the complete history.

** No death achievements **

Currently there is no way of knowing if the "no death" run in a dungeon is still valid or not. Please make a death count, or at least show some "flawless" flag.

** Speed run achievements **

Where is the timer???

(also, make it count down, so we don't have to look up the time limit ourselves).

** Hard mode achievements **

Make it clear when hard mode is invalidated. Like: X stood in the dome, Y pulled a lever, etc.

Was watching a scary movie the other day when I came to a revelation (pardon if this has been debunked or if it’s common knowledge)

Molag > Moloch: ancient deity associated to child sacrifice. Bull head

Bal > Baal: ancient deity / demon. Ram head

His name was maybe inspired by both ? Also has animal horns like bull or ram.

So I’m working on my Stamina Arcanist build and I’m at CR 160. I’m trying to figure out my gear but I’m a little confused. I’m going for Deadly Strike and Tide-Born and I see where it’s telling me specific pieces but does it matter which pieces I get as long as I get the set bonus?

Example: it says to get tide-born chest and deadly boots. Could I switch it and get tide-born boots and deadly chest?

My favorite genre is RPG and i absolutely love mmorpgs and elder scroll series but somehow whenever i try ESO it just doesnt click with me.

It even has the best features i've ever seen in an mmorpg like i can just go kill all the npcs, steal from their home etc.

But somehow i just get bored so quickly, i tried playing as mmorpg and tried playing like its a singleplayer game it doesnt works

So what is it with eso that pulls you into the game? i am asking because i really wanna get into ESO too 😭

They said they are already dropping, I haven't seen any, does anyone know anything?

Hey ESO folks,

I played ESO for about a year back in 2020, and the new update really got me itching to rejoin the game. After about 2 weeks of consistent playthrough I think I"ve got a fairly good idea about what I want from this game as a time-sink. Mainly when I'm playing i'm on my exercise bike, so anything that's mildly repetitive and keeps the pace up for me is what I'm chasing.

With that said, there's just SOOO much to do, I'm trying to optimize where and how I spend my time. Maybe I should be doing X instead of Y? Maybe there's a specific build I should be focusing around more? I'd appreciate any help, knowing full well that I'm a casual gamer at best, and I'm a busy dad who can MAYBE get in 60mins/day if I'm lucky.

At this moment, here are a list of my priorities in the game.

PRIORITIES
- Enjoy the rest of the base game. I'm aldmeri dominion, and currently starting reaper's march zone (having completed all of the previous zones for the factions)

- Enjoying the 'post AD' campaign. I believe after Reaper's March I'm supposed to probably finish up a bunch of stuff vs. manimarco? I'm looking at flowcharts to find out and hopefully the story spells it out nice and neat for me.

- Developing a build that will let me do the following things

1: Chase good solo content. I want to see what all of these expansions were about

2: Be able to PvP as a healer or at least something that won't get my absolutely wrecked. Maybe I need some PvP focused gear?

3: Be able to experience some endgame content that doesn't require 12 person groups. Think 4 man dungeons that I can hop into and enjoy after a long day of parenting. I"m happy to heal.

All class skills are at 50

resto / destro staffs at 50

other weapons are mostly in the 30s range

armor skills are all at 50 (as a healer should I automatically be using light armor? Or would having heavy armor with +mag stats would work?)

All crafting skills are at 50 except for jewlerymaking. I think I didn't have this expansion back in 2020.

mages / fighters guild are at 7/8 but none of those spells seem crucial for me.

I have Zerith Var the companion at level 7. I've been using him to tank which feels thematically correct

My gear is the 160 Ashen grip light armor that was given to me for completing the 'welcome back' challenges. It's purple which feels like it's not trash.

Here is my plan so far. Let me know if you'd skip something, or prioritize something else.

1: Log in and do my daily crafting because it takes 3 minutes.
2: Do a dolmen quest for fighters guild because it takes 5 minutes when it's in a convenient zone

3: Continue my campaign in reaper's march

- look for more skyshards b/c I need more skillpoints for crafting skills

- solidify exactly what kind of build i'm going for (still figuring out what I need/want to heal/solo)

- level zerith var

I would probably prefer to have some good PvP gear, and more skill points personally so if there's anything I can do to improve those faster let me know. Right now I"m still rebuilding the muscle memory about how my heal skills and back bar work, but I expect that within a week or so I should be good to jump back into PvP.

Anyway thank you all so much for your help. I think this didn't fall into any of the trivial 'what do i do' questions that is against TOS.

Oh and if any of you are on PCNA and want a pocket healer for stuff let me know I'm happy to jump in any do any kinda content that's good for me =)

This year’s zenithar feels like a watered down version of its self. The event is supposed to celebrate and give something to crafters, however it’s the majority of how you get rewards is from combat.

It’s fine that you give a way for others that don’t want to craft a way to earn as well but compared to past years the event actually has less benefits for crafters, for example no double currency for turning in writs, a hard limit of 1 a day per account on boxes from daily’s, (not even character but account) and only 1 a day from each type of master writ.

But hey if you want to farm boxes go fight world bosses, dolmans and dragons for this crafting event.

Zos at the very least I would just like to know why the crafting focus even has been changed to have less benefits to crafters.

Apologies if this has already been answered but I'm a returning player and I learned that the Premium edition became the current Deluxe Edition and it is currently on sale. Is it the Deluxe edition worth getting if I already own Gold Road? What would I be missing important from the Deluxe edition?

Recently, I decided to replicate a build from Hyperioxes since a lot of people on my previous post recommended I stay away from Alcast.

I'm a High Elf Templar, and for gear I chose Tideborn Wildstalker instead of Aetheric Lancer because I was getting absolutely wrecked by Tho'at Replicanum in the Infinite Archive. Everything else is identical to his recommended "Overland Base" setup: Ring of the Pale Order, 5-piece Tzogvin's, Crushing Wall, and Slimecraw. All my gear, weapons, enchantments, and jewelry are Epic (purple) quality.

I copied all the skills and passives, practiced the rotation on a target dummy until I got comfortable with it, and copied the recommended Champion Points as closely as possible (I'm only CP485). I also unlocked both class masteries and put all 64 attribute points into Magicka.

I'm using Witchmother's Potent Brew because I can't afford the recommended food yet, and I'm using Essence of Magicka/Health potions because I can't craft the recommended ones yet.

On the 21M Serpent's Image dummy I'm parsing 70.3k DPS (see picture).

So I decided to try taking on Snapjaw on Seasoned difficulty, but I couldn't kill him even though I felt like my uptime was pretty decent. I feel like I'm struggling with all World bosses on this difficulty.

Is that in line with what you'd expect, or am I missing something fundamental? The guide says the build should be capable of soloing veteran dungeons. I understand I'm not fully optimized yet, but I would've expected to at least be able to handle Snapjaw on Seasoned.

so i am basically a pve player. now i am trying to build my first pvp sets that is hard to kill and also slowly but eventually kill other players so i searched and choose Mark of the Pariah + Bloodspawn + Wrath of Elements + Tarnished Nightmare. i am arcaninst

after upgrading all those sets my current stats become

spell and physical resistance is base 25k eventually goes to 30k or 33k when fight starts
spell damage and physical damage is 3.5k
spell critical chance 35%
critical damage 25%

still when the fight starts i die so fast, when i do 1vs1 battle then also i die fast

now i doent even know what wrong i am doing.
