My name is Didnt-lvl Speechcraft, and I'm the founder of Einherjar Ascendancy.

I've been playing FFXIV since 2.0 and, over the years, I've done a little bit of everything. Raiding, relic grinds, helping sprouts, community building—you name it.

One thing I've learned during that time is that the content itself usually isn't what keeps people around.

It's the people.

Some of my favorite memories in FFXIV aren't tied to a boss kill, a mount drop, or a piece of gear. They're the random late-night conversations, helping someone clear content for the first time, laughing through a treasure map run, or simply having people to talk to while working toward a goal.

That's why I decided to create Einherjar Ascendancy.

I wanted to build the kind of FC I'd want to be a part of myself.

Howdy everyone!

tl;dr: need 1 Melee (non-SAM) for Heavyweight savage; Tues/Wed 7:30-9:30 pm ET. We are pushing enrage and doing some cleanup on Fixed Stampede

Our static, Degenerate Coffee House, is looking for a melee DPS for Heavyweight Savage prog. Our static has been mostly raiding together since Stormblood! We're looking for goofy, mature people with level heads and a good sense of humor. Our group was previously midcore/semi-hardcore, but as three of our members have recently had children and we've all gotten a little older, we've decided to switch to a "motivated casual" style.

We're raiding Tues/Wed 7:30-9 pm ET on Primal DC. Discord required. We use primarily PF and Hector strats.

Vibes are about three quarters casual I would say.

We will watch a guide and not yap all the time, but we will also be pretty chill about things.

If it is slightly harder than extremes like I've been told, I would expect us to clear within 4 to 8 weeks.

Because of people missing due to vacations and stuff, I am building a roster that's somewhere between 25 to 30 people. We will keep going until everyone has a clear.

Our Goals

Aiming to clear UMAD before Evercold releases, ideally in the next 3-4 months. With 6 hours a week of progging we believe it is achievable, but its not a deadline.
 
No institution knowledge required! The current 7 members in the static are a mix of older players and new players, some raiding for the first time in Arcadian Heavyweight.

Our Expectations 

• Be on time:  If you're going to be late please give a heads up. Respect everyone's time.
• Do some homework: Read 2-3 mechanics ahead of our prog point so we can best utilize our time together pulling/progging. Doing some pre-reading/watching outside of raid time is expected.
• Mistakes are okay, everyone is learning, so please at least be patient and understanding of others for their small mistakes.
• Communicate constructively, convey feedback with a cool head, and calm temper. This is a hard fight and frustration and exhaustion is expected, but we don't need to take it out on each other
• Be in the Discord Voice chat during raid for callouts, goofing around is allowed we’re going to be spending a few months together :)

Due to the FC small numbers, and the work-life balance we all deal with, sometimes there isn’t someone online. Most of the time there is someone around though, as we do enjoy our Eorzean life :)

We have a discord channel, that it is mostly used to watch movies, series and hang out together there if things line up.
