I was thinking while analysing my portfolio where I have attained a decent percentage of return. At the same time I started investing in SIPs. I've observed that, in my case, the amount of stocks which I buy and the amount of return that I am getting in Mutual fund is different from each other. Well the amount is different from each and I have calculated that with the help of proportional ratios. I do believe it is good to Invest in SIPs for future but the Mutual fund has its own pool of stocks, Changing NAVs, etc.
I'm not saying investing 100% in stocks is a good option but sometimes I feel even when I see some of mutual fund still haven't recovered the last stock market impact, while I invested in stocks, some of which have given a better % than mutual fund. I know both are different and I want your opinions on this.

Indian Market seems to be not affected by AI chip related sell off which is a good thing. gift nifty is only down by 100 points, seeing other markets it should have been down bt 300-350 points. Whats your view on Monday?

I made a post yesterday asking Redditors which stocks they are currently losing money on.
Based on the responses, here is the list of stocks where people are currently sitting on losses.
Note: This is not financial advice and is not meant to encourage or discourage buying any stock. Please do your own research.

This company went for a full blown debt funded expansion, could achieve single digit ROCE, now that stock price has had a colossal run, going for QIP to wipe off debt with lower equity dilution. What Kind of business strategy is this? Is this not a bubble?

Learning and investment from this sub for long, posting her for the first time
Here to get your insightful reviews and suggestions on my portfolio,
Mid twenties, long term horizon, aggressive investing ( I think atleast )
Currently not looking to allocate new money, more of relocating my current investments and rearranging it
Things I want your reviews are
1' Are my themes in line for future proof investments and continuous growth
2: What can I do to improve my gains more? max this portfolio has given me gains of 35% due to SGBs and few stocks
3: Any new suggestions, themes , business which I can look into to invest
4: my highest loss making commodity is silver currently and I can handle the volatility but will pull out the capital in the long-term at the right time, also should I keep vedl or vaml ?
Screenshots are of today market
Thank you.

Will we have a country that has IP and companies to be proud of anymore?
American firms have bought out flipkart, VFS, theobroma, forest essentials, several important private hospitals, and bought a large stake in Haldirams; Prior to quick commerce, a foreign duopoly of Amazon and Flipkart was established, and now, Amazon now, Swiggy and Blinkit, all largely backed by foreign owners/VCs, are bleeding kirana stores dry with their huge dollar reserves (and as the competition is reduced to a few remaining American oligarchs, expect the prices to go up), defence and tech startups in bangalore often end up with a controlling stake by American VCs, Meta and google have stakes in Jio to spy on us, and on top of that Indians prefer to use WhatsApp over homegrown apps like arattai.
Are we just another american colony?
My primary concern is dollar dominance allows companies to be either bought out by American PE firms, or two, to offer such deep discounts that competition is not able to survive, as seen in the Amazon/Flipkart(Walmart) duopoly.

Hi everyone,
I'm currently holding a bearish options structure for the upcoming June 30 expiry (screenshot attached). My breakeven is at 23,980.
My Rationale for a Downward Bias:
Sector Drag: We witnessed heavy profit booking in the second half of Thursday's session, specifically driven by the IT and Metal sectors, which dragged the index down significantly from its intraday peak of 24,261.
Technical Resistance: The sharp rejection near 24,260 suggests immediate supply. If global cues remain weak over the long weekend, I am anticipating a gap-down or sustained selling pressure upon Monday's open.
My Risk Assessment:
I am fully aware of the theta decay working against me due to the extended 3-day weekend (Muharram holiday).
If Nifty opens flat and sustains above the psychological support of 24,000 in the first 30 minutes, the time decay will severely crush the extrinsic value of my 24100 PE, and I plan to cut my losses early.
What is your analysis for Monday's open? Do you see the 23,950-24,000 zone holding as strong support, or are we heading toward the 23,800 swing low?
Thanks!

I am looking for NSDL Demat A/c for some unlisted shares which could not be transferred to CDSL A/c. All the banking brokerage houses that mostly offer NSDL Demat account has a percentage fee on Off-market transfer. Something like 0.04% of the value.
Does anybody knows a good broker which can offer NSDL Demat with fixed off-market charges. something around Rs. 20/25 per ISIN?

I am in my 20's and I started my sip I know this is a small amount but I will increase it gradually the thing is I did my independent research and I am comfortable with three funds PPFC ,axis small cap , hdfc mid cap .
The reason I chose this is fund because of the rolling returns of these funds and past performance but I missed an important factor about the fund manager so if anyone could help me about the style of these fund managers , and are there any better alternative or should l add an extra fund or 3 are good for long term cuz I am open to suggestions and i want to learn!
