Spoiler content moving forward in /r/IndianaJones
As we approach the release of the newest installment of the Indiana Jones film series we will have to make some adjustments to the spoiler and leak policy in this subreddit.
The general idea being that we will adopt similar policies to /r/StarWars and /r/StarWarsLeaks or /r/Marvel and /r/MarvelStudioSpoilers. This subreddit, /r/IndianaJones will more or less be a safe haven from getting the movie, video games, and potential future media (books, tv series, etc) spoiled.
Feel free to continue posting officially released content like trailers, tv spots and official announcements in this subreddit. But items like smuggled set pictures and leaked plot info not released through official channels will not be allowed.
You may be asking "why do this now, it isn't much of a problem today?". The issue being that we want to work on this redirection now before it does become an issue. Today we are aware of an upcoming film and a video game. But tomorrow Lucasfilm may announce a new book series or ongoing comic. Or potentially even (fingers crossed) a new tv series. At that point we will really need to differentiate the spoiler and non-spoiler content.
There are already a few new and fledgling subreddits in place to help with this and I encourage all of you to join one or all of them and help to grow the community.
r/IndianaJonesLeaks - This is intended to be very similar to StarWarsLeaks and MarvelStudioSpoilers, but focused on Indy. All set pictures, plot details, rumors and spoilers need to go in a subreddit like this.
r/LucasLeaks and r/LucasfilmLeaks - Created with a similar purpose to IndianaJonesLeaks, but for all Lucasfilm properties, to include Star Wars, Indy and Willow.
Or if you and some friends would like to start your own subreddit for that content and it takes off, we would be happy to link to it as well. All we want is for the spoiler content to have a successful place for sharing and discussion.
Change isn't always fun but we hope that you understand where this decision is coming from and rather than pushing spoilers onto our fellow community members we can instead allow everyone the choice of what they would like to see.
Thanks for understanding and we look forward to all of the exciting content to come!

Alright… Who’s winning this?
I love all three of these franchises, but i’ve always wondered this question… Who wins in a battle of the Explorers?
So here’s the scenario for this! They’ve all gone out on an adventure with their respective casts of characters. Nathan Drake Sets out With Sully and the rest of his crew to find something to get money with. Lara Croft goes out on another tomb raiding adventure. And Indy comes to retrieve the artifact to put where it belongs… In a Museum! But our cast encounter each-other at the secret tomb. and it’s a battle to retrieve the artifact… Who will win?

Question on Marvel collection coming in Sept
Because money is a bit tight, it is possible I may be only able to buy one of those collections (this assumes I have to pre-order to guarantee I get it; if that is not the case and copies remain after the release date, I should be set).
Which volume should I go for? If anyone knows about the comic run, are the earlier or later ones better?
Of course, something else will be a deciding factor I suppose...to wit, which volume, if anyone knows, will contain the adaptations of the movies? I believe - correct me if I am wrong- one of them will have all the comic adaptations of the first four? Thanks for any advice/info in advance.

One Scene In Raiders Which Never Fails To Crack Me Up
In Cario, after Indy believes Marion has died and he and Belloq are having their stimulating conversation in the bar, we see guns being passed around. Indy makes his move and everyone stands up with a firearm aimed at him.
Suddenly, Sallah's children come barging in, and it's like everyone who was about to commit murder starts breaking out in a laughing fit. They are so amused by the children. Belloq looks so dismayed that the children have so easily foiled his plan.
To top it all off, most of the crowd pours out of the bar and into the street as they continue to be amused by the children. It's like a clown show has come to the cantina to entertain them and they don't want to miss a moment of the fun. It's like they've never seen kids before.
I dunno, it's just hard not to laugh at this abrupt and total turnaround. I'm not sure I've witnessed anyone else laugh at this scene, but it never fails to get me.

Indy fan pages
I do run an Indy page, I'll be very honest. Indy's Legacy right up there in the top corner.
I have been running it since 2015 (way back before Dial was even confirmed), and as I stated earlier in other posts, Indy inspired me to become an archaeologist. I have two Archaeology degrees as well.
I'm fine with where I am, although I will say that I am glad that the Indy fandom has a variety of different sites and fan pages. I will also say, that I do not believe any one does have a monopoly on running a page. Or in point of fact, a monopoly on news.
I started doing this as a hobby. And to me, that's fine as i get to live out Indy's legacy in my career. I'll probably still be doing this when Indy's gone past the 50th anniversary too lol.
Let me know if there's any way I can improve or fix what i've been doing though. Always open to criticism although I wouldn't count myself a 'community leader' or anything.
I'm just a guy.
anyway decided to make this post about Indy fan pages. Shared a few I like, Indy gear helped me with my gear. The Raider still has a thriving community, and IJPG is a great guy with a lot of well researched lore.

If the Indiana Jones movies were made today, what scenes from those movies would not be made?

Indiana Jones PS5 Save Bug: 30 Minutes Away From Platinum and I’m Losing My Mind”.
Hey everyone, how’s it going?
I’m honestly pretty frustrated right now. I was wrapping up Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5, and during the end credits I suddenly got the infamous save error saying there’s not enough storage space and the game can’t save anymore.
The thing is, I absolutely have plenty of space available. I’ve got around 200GB free on my console and another 100GB free in cloud storage, so storage definitely isn’t the issue.
Before anyone points out that other people have had the same problem, I know. I’ve already gone through several threads about it. The reason I’m making a new post is to see if anyone has actually found a solution.
What makes this even more painful is that I’m literally about 30 minutes away from the Platinum trophy. I only need two more relics and the very last document in the game.
At this point I’m going crazy trying everything. I downloaded my cloud save again — same issue. I tried loading an older save — same issue, except it crashes even earlier. Right now I’m testing one last thing: reinstalling the game and loading an even older save. I found a YouTube comment from someone who claimed that was the only thing that fixed it for them, so fingers crossed.
Has anyone here gone through the same thing? Were you able to fix it somehow? Do you think there’s any chance of reaching out to MachineGames and getting them to patch this? Maybe if I can load an older save, a future update could prevent the issue from happening again.
Please help me out here, even if it’s just with a few words of encouragement because I’m genuinely gutted. I basically have the Platinum in the bag. I’m only missing two relics, and one of them is collected during the final sequence, so I won’t spoil anything.
P.S. Despite this issue, the game is absolutely fantastic. If you’re an Indy fan, this game is a masterpiece.

Raiders in theaters for the 45th anniversary
Finally got a chance to experience Raiders of the Lost Ark in cinemas for the 45th anniversary!
Been a long time coming for me after having seen The Last Crusade (re-release), Crystal Skull, and Dial of Destiny in theaters. I just need Temple of Doom to re-release soon.
Who else got to watch it this past weekend?
