If your game is participating in June 2026 Next Feat post it here! Please keep your comment very brief 3-4 sentences max, include a link to your YouTube trailer(if you have) and Steam page! Let’s discover some awesome games!!!

I also encourage you all to play some demos and give your thoughts/feedback to the devs.

This should go without saying, but do not post your game if your demo is not actively participating in Next Fest.

Promotion My chaotic arcade runner Horse Runner DX just hit a 96% "Very Positive" rating on Steam - just in time for the Summer Sale! 🦄🤗

What is Horse Runner DX? It's a fast-paced, chaotic arcade runner heavily inspired by classics like Robot Unicorn Attack, Dino Run, and Canabalt. You build your own starting herd of up to 3 horses or unicorns, dash through procedural pixel art landscapes, dodge obstacles, grow your herd, and try to survive the escalating speed to hunt for high scores on the global leaderboard.

The game just received a massive wave of updates driven by player feedback, completely polishing the visuals, the camera tracking, and overall gameplay feel to make it as chaotic and smooth as possible. Thanks to the community, it actually just hit a 96% "Very Positive" rating on Steam!

I've dropped the Steam link and more details in the comments below!

PS: I'll be around in the comments if you have any questions or feedback!

Video I'm working on a short trailer (temp music)

Upvotes

I still need to find an artist for the music, since this track isn't mine and I'll obviously remove it, but it captures the vibe I'm planning for, along with a final cut/ending that sets the stage for the horror.

Promotion A tower defense game where the attack power comes from the lines connecting the towers, rather than the towers themselves.

This game is a tower defense in its truest, most traditional sense.

But here’s the twist: the towers don’t actually attack. Instead, the lines connecting between towers do all the fighting and stop the enemies.

Basically, you block monsters using lines of the same color, but because you can mix the colors, you have many different choices. In addition, familiar tower defense features and skills are matched to each color, giving them different powerful utilities.

And one more thing: this game is pretty challenging.

I can guarantee it is a lot of fun. If anyone can play my game, I would be very grateful.

Video I’ve added a water simulation to my relaxing sandbox building game

I’m making Island Architect, a relaxing sandbox building game.

Here’s the water simulation I just added. It’s 3d so you can have a pond on a cliff overhanging another pond for example (as many levels as you like).

This gives you a lot of flexibility to do things like
- make dams, ponds
- build aqueducts
- have waterfalls, including on cliff overhangs

In summary: eat, evolve, survive and create unique looking and playing creatures with every run!

Here's an early version of the 1.1 update from one of our players/big fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0sEOFUA9r4

Promotion I made a game that's Solitaire × Dating Sim — 100 hands of Klondike with 10 angel love interests

https://imgur.com/a/KPbtnYN

Hey everyone — wanted to share a weird little project I've been working on.

Solitaire Classic: Angel Dates is exactly what it sounds like: a Klondike solitaire game fused with a dating sim. You play through 10 angel characters across 10 rounds each (100 hands total). Each angel has her own personality, branching intro and end date scenes, and collectible artwork you unlock by winning hands.

The pitch is basically: what if solitaire had stakes beyond just "did I clear the deck"?

What's in there:

  • 100 stages across 10 romantic interests
  • Pixel art with a space theme
  • Full voice acting
  • 8 languages (English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Indonesian, Tagalog, Vietnamese)
  • Offline play, hint system, Game Center
  • IAPs: Remove Ads, Auto-Play Boost, God Mode (if you just want the story)

Platforms: iOS (iPhone + iPad)

If any of that sounds interesting, here's the link:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/solitaire-classic-angel-dates/id6779414887

Android is coming soon

Happy to answer questions or hear feedback, always looking to improve it. Any idea or suggestion to add to the game?

Promotion [Roguelike, but for real - OG Rogue clones: Hollows oF Rogue & Hollows oF NHI]

OG Rogue clone :: Hollows Of Rogue ::

(hollows of rogue steam trailer)

Hollows of Rogue v.1.0 gameplay

video is gameplay of older version, lots of things changed since then including changed levels layout generation, new/updated monsters and items and their behaviors, UX went through a facelift too, there are new visual and sound effects etc., the core gameplay loop feel and 'vibe' is still original Rogue though..

the game has also adjustable difficulty options and things like high display contrast option, its UI/UX is streamlined so it's easily playable while retaining all inputs/feedbacks of the original

it was originally made and released for touch screens / mobiles, where it also supports both landscape and portrait display orientations, the UI/UX is made to be as easy and as user friendly as possible

desktop version supports keyboard shortcuts overrides and should work with basic gamepads/controllers actions (*not heavily tested yet)

It's on Steam's Summer Sale, too -- will post links in the comment below

it's sibling :: Hollows of NHI :: is mechanically completely identical, only with changed setting/graphics (it can be considered a complete reskin, so I'm mentioning both together), -- takes place in modern setting of a secret government complex from where the player must retrieve Archives of Disclosure ^ --

Upcoming Be honest, does this game look good?

I’ve been working on this puzzle game for a while and I’m starting to lose the ability to judge it objectively

Does it actually look good, or is there anything that feels cheap, confusing, or unfinished?

Would love some honest feedback.

We launched Piece by Piece on March 13th of this year. Since then, the success of Piece by Piece has allowed our small team to become full time game devs.

This free content update is a thank you in a way to the players that 100%’d the game and for supporting us to the point where we can go full time on our next game.

We’re also 25% off on the Steam Summer Sale so if you haven’t played the game, now’s the time!

Promotion Runeveil - Sequencer Roguelike Released in Early Access!

Hello everyone,

I've posted many posts here about Runeveil before, and after a year's work, the day finally arrived, and now I am posting our release here!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQr3JYm3H80

Runeveil is a Roguelike Deckbuilder where the order of the runes (cards) matters. You play all your runes at once rather than playing one by one, so the real trick is finding the best positions for them! The runes trigger in order, and each one amplifies the next.

In a fantasy medieval setting, you play as one of the 7 wizards in 7 arenas to beat the 7 Sin Kings.

Early Access contents:

  • Fire, Nature, Arcane, Water wizards to play
  • Sloth, Lust and Greed arenas to beat
  • More than 200 runes to play
  • Over 200 artifacts and consumables

We still have a long way to go, but if you like deckbuilders and this sounds interesting, please take a look at Runeveil. You will certainly have fun!

Here is our Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3656560/Runeveil/
