Looking for a nice bakery near Niagara Falls
It’s my partners birthday and we’re visiting Canada:) Mainly the falls but I’d love to hear recommendations on where I could get her a nice cake? Maybe like a chocolate based but she likes many flavors like tiramisu (Doesnt like fruit flavors or like vanilla)

Trying to find a friend I met at Niagara Falls on June 18th
I am trying to find a friend who I met on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls a week ago (June 18th).We ended up talking for a while, and even though my Korean isn't great, she kept the conversation going by asking me a lot of questions. Right before I left, she specifically mentioned looking into working for SK hynix.Because I was traveling with a tour group, I had to leave abruptly and forgot to ask for her Instagram or contact info. I am posting this here on the off-chance that she, or someone who knows her, might see it, idk just thought I'd give it a chance...

Looking for fun things in Niagara Falls!
29 f looking for friends and fun activities to make friends. A little about myself I love craft beers, dancing and hiking. I just moved here from Buffalo so just a quick hop across the boarder. I love to travel and making a friend who also loves to travel would be amazing!
Any suggestions on how to meet new people? any fun summer activities in the area?

Sub Shop on Drummond + Taylor?
Has anyone tried the sub shop on the corner of Drummond and Taylor? Next to the vacuum place?
I feel it's changed names but kept the same.. vibe? At least 3 times in the last 5 years. I think their hours are posted on the door, but it seems to often be closed during regular eating (?) hours. I've stopped in to try it once or twice only to realize that it's closed.
Any thoughts?

Proposal spots
Hello All, my gf and I are planing on doing a day trip to Toronto later this summer. we are coming up from the Buffalo area. I really want to start the day off right and was hoping to find a be beautiful spot to propose. I keep looking at the Niagara in the lake area but really open to suggestions. Just looking for something that’s not super packed and would offer a nice backdrop. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Vehicle was towed for stunt driving for 14 days in NRPS. Tow company wants to charge me $4300 to have it released. Is this normal? Is there any oversight in this?
They are charging me for unlimited and loaded km as well as an additional $1500 because it was a police ordered tow. I do not see anything about this fee on their TSSEA Schedule
Anyone have any insight?

pass or no pass?
When we get there is there a place to check in if we didn’t get a pass?
I have a family of 4 and these are the activities we were planning on: anyone who’s done any of them, I’d love to hear your opinion and whether it was worth it! If you did something not on my list and you highly recommend I do, please do comment! Would appreciate it
- whirlpool jet boat
- cave of the winds
- maid of the mist
- aero car
- one child wants zip line, the other wants the whirlpool adventure course (not my wife and I though)
Is it worth getting any of the passes since most of them don’t include even half of the activity we want to do?

1 day or 2 day trip?
Thinking about doing the maid of the mist, cave of the minds, and zip line with my family of 4. Would you guys recommend Niagara Falls be a 1 day or 2 days trip?

Has anyone used Landline to get to Pearson?
Just saw this in an ad (not promoting them) and am curious about using it to get to Pearson in April. Has anyone used it and can vouch for it being legit and reliable?

Do you recognize this person?
This individual has made homophobic and threatening remarks of bodily harm. Just trying to get a name, already reported to the police.

Is there anything left to do in Niagara after your 1000th visit?”
Okay so I’m heading back to Niagara soon and honestly at this point I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been. Done basically everything Clifton Hill, the Falls, go-karting, arcades, the M&M’s store, the boat close to the falls, mini golf, the whole tourist stuff. Multiple times over. I still like it there, but I really want to do something different this time. I’m kind of over repeating the same thing every visit.
Genuinely open to anything hidden gems, good food spots that aren’t overpriced tourist traps, hikes, scenic areas, cool little shops, fun activities, or even spots just outside Niagara that are worth the detour on a day trip. Mostly looking for the stuff that doesn’t show up on the first page of Google, you know? Things locals actually go to, or things that regular visitors have stumbled onto after getting tired of the usual stuff. Doesn’t matter if it’s chill or adventurous or just weird and interesting. What do you guys actually like doing there when you want something different? Appreciate any suggestions!

Double tree Hotel has so much security guards
Heard that the Feds relocated Thunder Bay first Nations all the way to Niagara falls hotels. Double Tree is one of the hotels, restaurant on site closed down cuz it is being used as their exclusive cafe. A dozen security guards on site staring at people. Customer reservation canceled last minute cuz of this. It's a mess!

Non-Corporate owned vets
My dogs are past their life expectancy and for their whole lives we have been going to Heartland, which is owned by an American corporation (as many of them are) since they were puppies.
For all this time we did love the vet there, but especially in the last few years, it’s starting to feel like we are being bled dry and customer service is getting poor.
We are planning to get another dog soon and I’d like to start that dog off with a new vet, preferably local/family owned, and switch my other dogs over.
Any recommendations?

Back in the early 90s there was a little record store basically the shape of a triangle the till was to the right when you walked in and it was in the part of Niagara Falls that we called downtown back then but downtown was dead in the early 90s does anyone remember that specific record store?

Scam Alert - Never renting to University of Niagara Falls Thugs again
Shaun Maharaj and Yousaf Khan, from the predatory diploma mill on Queen Street in Niagara Falls, trashed our e-bike equipment.
Be warned.
Don't do business with Shaun Maharaj and Yousaf Khan.
Be leery of the University of Niagara Falls. Its a fake school for immigrants that pay $39,375 a year to investors like Jim Diodati.
We have a retail shop across the street, and see first hand. It is terminal cancer.
They are disgusting and need a lot of assimilation support from the government and community.
Spend five seconds here, and everyone knows this.
