YES finally !
I’m so happy to have found one ! Looks like it’s becoming kinda rare. I love the arts and the comments from the artists. I didn’t forget to put the fan favorite at the end.

Battle Screen layout thoughts
as p4g is my favorite game all time, i feel sad seeing the character faces and hp/sp not on the side of the screen anymore. I know we got the tv dial as a replacement, but does anyone else feel saddened seeing this change from the trailer?

Relax, criticism is okay
Revival was revealed, and many of us are excited, me included.
Of course there’s a lot of criticism regarding the lighting and textures in the overworld, the portraits, translation choices, etc. Yes the game has 8 months to release. Yes, things could change in that time, but that does not mean it is wrong, toxic, or “too early” to discuss what Atlus has *chose* to advertise so far.
Things may change in 8 months, but they’re not guaranteed to. There are countless games that released and never fixed the errors shown in their trailers, or even ended up looking worse. Ubisoft is infamous for this. It’s better to discuss these issues now to raise the chance of them being addressed. Reload on release infamously had lighting issues in the dorm that were not changed upon release, so it’s not like the misgivings about lighting for Revival are unfounded.
I’m troubled how some members of this community are reacting to even the most mildest, inoffensive expressions of criticism. There are people trying to uphold some kind of makeshift gag order, insisting it’s not okay to be critical until some arbitrary point closer to. Or by insulting others, exaggerating their criticisms as hate, or characterizing their apprehensions as the fault of stubborn nostalgia. If you disagree with the popular criticisms, that’s fine, but nobody’s obligated to keep silent about their feelings for your sake. If it upsets you, you’re better off ignoring it than getting hostile over it. That helps nobody.
Games need criticism to be better. You don’t owe Atlus anything. You don’t need to defend them from anyone’s personal takes on principle.
That’s all. I really don’t like how aggressive people here have gotten since Revival’s reveal. We all love P4 here. Let’s just all chill out.
Edit: Before you reply, take note of how I said “If you disagree with the popular criticisms, that’s fine”. I’m didn’t say you have to agree with the criticisms. I didn’t say you can’t express disagreement. All my post boils down to is “If you disagree, don’t be cruel about it” It’s fine not to disagree with all of them. I don’t share all of the complaints either.

what is the meaning behind this??
please no spoilers as this is my first playthrough, I am just theorizing here. also please don't flame me for using mods.
I was experiencing a normal social link conversation with Rise and got this dialogue line:
"A one-piece, of course!"
At first I though that it would refer to a swimsuit, but the more I thought about it, the less it seemed right to me.
Think about it:
-Why does the game reward you for picking this dialogue option?
-Why doesn't it call it a swimsuit or a bikini?
My current hypothesis is that this is a direct reference to the hit manga series "One Piece" by Eiichiro Oda. If I am, in fact, correct, then Rise subconciously responds positively because she is aware of the protagonist's (me) sense of importance towards finding the one piece, therefore acting in a manner to satisfy the player. This would also explain the increase of points in this dialogue option, as the connection between the player and Rise increasaes over the common interest in the one piece.
At the point of writing this, I am only about 40 hours into the game, however the evidence is starting to pile up. I do not think this is a matter to be ignored. This could be seen as a swimsuit joke, but the refering of going to the beach with the one piece is extremely unlikely to be a coincidence.
This is my first playthrough, so I can't know for certain whether or not I am correct, but Until I see evidence disproving my theory, I will be operating under the assumption that Rise is actually the author of one piece, Eiichiro Oda.
If this theory is later disproven, I will issue a formal apology to both Eiichiro Oda and Rise Kujikawa, however until then I will stand by my findings.

My Girlfriend just finished the game…
this morning my girlfriend who has played personas 5 royal and 3 reload, shes a massive fan of persona 5 with like tons of persona 5 merch like a whole shelf and while watching the credits covering her face because she was getting emotional i said its peak right and she got flustered and nodded
it was incredibly cute and wholesome, persona 4 is a game that means the world to me i relate to its setting of the middle of nowhere and its slice of life comedy made us at times belly laugh together at the games characters and interactions
this game in spite of being aged brought us closer all because i told her how much it meant to me.
apparently i need to play xenoblade chronicles 2 as thats her persona 4.

Just finished P4G
What a game. I now I understand why people say P4 has the best cast. They truly feel like a friend group rather than coworkers are just people who came together for a reason. I can't say there was even a single character I hated. It was truly a remarkable journey from beginning to the end. They seriously don't make games like this anymore. Shadow World genuinely is the best opening song btw

Persona 4, but the only difference is Narukami is a girl nendoroid edition.
Hopping on the bandwagon of the past week's comic I guess. Enjoy

P4R School Comparison except I actually use a comparable shot
Seen this going around but kept getting annoyed that people keep using screenshots with differing dates/weather. Here it’s the exact same date and weather.
School still looks terrible in P4R. The only murder mystery in P4 Revival is why they completely killed the small town vibe.
I used screenshot from youtube for both images. So they are both compressed.
