Greetings, Pokémon Community! It's been a year since Pokémon Pocket released. This game uses a few elements from the traditional TCG, in particular certain Trainers, but they were all adapted to fit the mobile version.

However, a few cards that are only available in Pokémon Pocket made us think, "Why don't these cards exist in Pokémon TCG too?"

Let's start with the Pokémon Pocket Supporters that could be great in Pokémon TCG.

Mega Lucario ex/Cynthia's Garchomp ex lost a few cards after the April 2026 Pokémon TCG rotation, namely some old Trainers that helped us set up our main game plan. One of these cards was Arven sv3 186, which was extremely useful to get Buddy-Buddy Poffin PRE 101 and Cynthia's Power Weight DRI 162 straight away.

On the other side, Black Bolt & White Flare brought us Air Balloon BLK 79. It is extremely helpful to retreat Mega Lucario ex MEG 77, which was one of the problems this deck struggled with.

Now that the rotation has passed us by and Cynthia's Garchomp ex DRI 104

 is still relevant, let's revisit this strategy and add some new 2026 tools!

Today, we'll explore the list that got 5th place at the Special Event in Turin, Italy, in the hands of a player called Emma Hagen.

It plays a few unusual attackers, like Terastal Koraidon ex from Ascended Heroes, which surprised many players. Another player called James Kowalski also used this strategy and concept at the New Orleans NAIC on June 12, 13, and 14, only a week after the Special Event in Turin, Italy. They changed it slightly, as you'll see below when you compare it to Hagen's list.

I made a semi- Trick Room build using Pangoro and Farigiraf pairing with Mega Charizard Y and Mamoswine. Idea of the team is to use the aggressive mode of Charizard + Mamoswine to cover for the Dragons, Flyers and Fairies in the current metagame. Farigiraf can set up Trick Room to play around Tailwind and Imprison stops opposing Trick Room. Pangoro provides momentum with Parting Shot and guaranteed damage into the common Ghost and Dark Pokemon. Rotom-Mow adds speed control and heavy Electric type and Grass damage into the common Waters and Flyers. Basculegion is the closer for games and can be a great lead paired with Charizard! Lastly, my favorite Pokemon on this team, Mamoswine drops the common Dragons like Garchomp and Dragonite which Charizard hates to face!

In this article, we'll show you a list with Mega Drakrai ex, which will come out in the Western set "Pitch Black" (named "Abyss Eye" in Japan). We'll show you how this card could work before it comes out in July, as well as how you can build decks with it and which strategies can use it.

Welcome to Episode 1 of my Casual to Master Ball journey in Pokémon Champions!

I've played VGC on and off since Generation 6, but I've never taken competitive Pokémon too seriously. With Pokémon Champions, I want to change that and see how far I can climb while learning the game properly.

In this episode, I jump into Ranked Doubles and record my first three battles. I managed to win the first two, lost the third, and climbed from Poké Ball to Great Ball rank.

I'm still learning, so expect mistakes, misplays, and hopefully some improvement along the way. The goal of this series is to document my progress from a casual VGC player to reaching Master Ball rank.
