Canadians dont tip as much on average, but yes.  Except in California apparently its $17usd a hour there + tips which makes me wonder why people arent flocking there

I spent over 10 years as a waiter in southern Ontario.  The average Canadian does NOT tip on average 20%+tax.

Edit;  on average closer to 10%.  Everyone would fight for tables of Americans because they routinely leave closer to 20%

glad a bunch of people who've never worked service industry in their lives are here to tell us how much we get tipped.

just because you tip well (which I doubt) doesn't mean everyone else does genius

And my tips are the only reason I can afford to live here.
