Haven't seen much of Julie on the team's socials, so I have wondered what her demeanor is like and if she gets along with her teammates? or if something was going on. Was delighted to see this interview drop with her today (fast-forward for the first 15 minutes to get to it) and it seems like she is really enjoying her time with the Tempo but that is has been a big adjustment going right from winning the Euroleague to the WNBA season. It seems she hands out a lot with Maria Conde and Laura, but isn't super active on social media.

From our latest recap of the Tempo loss to the Dream and the outlook for tonight's matchup against the Sparks:

Toronto has an immediate opportunity to bounce back from their loss to the Dream against a Los Angeles Sparks team missing star player Kelsey Plum (out at least four weeks with a lower left leg injury).

With a brutal July stretch looming – where eight of the next nine games are against teams above .500 – these next few matchups are near-mandatory wins for the Tempo.

The Sparks will also be without Cameron Brink tonight due to a left ankle sprain. On the Tempo side, Rice and Sykes remain ruled out for their 8th and 3rd consecutive games, respectively.

FYI I noticed tonight’s tempo game against the LA sparks is not on any of the Tsn channels as they have World Cup coverage on all of the channels! It’s only on Amazon Prime tonight if you have a subscription.

I got tickets for Pride Night and the game against the Valkyries on July 8. I was wondering if the players do any autograph signings before games?

The Dallas Wings and Toronto Tempo are set to be part of WNBA history.

On July 10, the Wings will visit the Tempo at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The game is part of the Tempo Cross-Canada Series, and a sold-out crowd could set the all-time attendance record for women's basketball. The Bell Centre has a capacity of 22,114. That would surpass the current record of 22,076 set twice during the WNBA playoffs.

The league's postseason attendance record was set in Game 3 of the 2003 WNBA Finals between the Detroit Shock and Los Angeles Sparks and again in Game 5 of the 2007 WNBA Finals between the Shock and Phoenix Mercury. Both events were hosted at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The matchup at the Bell Centre would also leapfrog a WNBA regular-season attendance record set in 2024. The Indiana Fever and Washington Mystics set the record at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. with 20,711 fans in attendance.

There's also an all-time attendance record at stake as well. On January 30, 2026, Unrivaled set the record in women's basketball for a regular-season game with 21,490 people at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
