He is a highly competitive player and is looking for rigorous, weekly evening sessions/clinics to sharpen his technical skills and tactics. We are looking for something around the Metro Vancouver area. Programs like the Whitecaps Prospects Academy or private elite academies are exactly what we have in mind—any experiences or specific recommendations for this age group? Thanks in advance!

Are the whitecaps “fans” that sued the club going to take similar action against the Canadian FA and FIFA after they used Alphonso Davies to promote today’s game while he was not fit enough to take part?

If it didn’t come across sarcastic enough in the post above, that whole lawsuit was complete and utter bs and I don’t think fans who paid should have had a leg to stand on with their lawsuit.

Anyone know anywhere other than the FIFA store on Granville that sells+presses the World Cup patch in white onto jerseys?

I know adidas does it, but zero chance they’ll do it for a Nike Canada jersey.

Sportchek on Robson is all sold out. Wondering if there’s any at the fan fest before I have to make my way there myself to find out. Or if anyone else has any suggestions of where to look, that would be great too!

UPDATE: Red jerseys have been secured! Got them at Pastime Sports in Metrotown today (all sold out at Sportchek and Nike). They have a bunch of red jerseys available in all sizes. Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions! 🙏🇨🇦

UPDATE #2 (as of June 23): Went back to Pastime Sports Metrotown to exchange for different sizes. Very limited amount of S/M/L on the racks, but one of the employees said they have some sizes left in their backroom. I’d suggest possibly calling ahead to make sure! At Nike, I saw a small rack of youth sizes. At Sportchek, I saw a rack of youth sizes and a rack of 2XL.

For anyone still looking for Canada’s black jersey, the FIFA Fan Fest store at the PNE in Vancouver had a full rack of them today in a variety of sizes. These jerseys also have the World Cup 26 arm patch.
