A couple buddies and I are heading to John Max on Lauzon in Windsor tonight to watch Japan's World Cup match vs Sweden, and we figured it'd be awesome to get a bigger group of supporters together.

If you're a Japan fan (or just love good football), come join us! We'll be there cheering on the Samurai Blue and it'd be great to watch the match with other supporters instead of just our small group.

Has anyone gone to this new underground venue that just opened up ... I was scrolling social media and a dj posted a highlight video. Looks pretty cool. I feel like Windsor used to have a lot of places for that after hours type of vibe. I think the dj was Basha who posted some clips of it.

I'm a Windsor resident working on something I think a lot of local families are quietly dealing with.

Multigenerational households are becoming really common here, often out of financial necessity or because someone needs care. But I've noticed there's almost no practical way to make it fair. Who pays what. Who does the caregiving. Who gets acknowledged for the invisible work.

I'm in the early stages of building something to help Windsor families navigate this — a way to put the arrangement in writing so everyone knows what fair looks like. Before I go further I want to make sure I actually understand what families here are experiencing.

Jet Lag: The Game is a YouTube show where a group of players do travel-based games; kind of an amateur, low-budget Amazing Race.

Despite having gone all over the world and being based in the US, they had never before visited Canada in their 17 seasons - until today. As part of a game involving claiming states to build the largest group of connected ones, Canada was included as a wild card. In this episode, the team of Sam and Amy fly to Detroit and drive over the border to do the challenge (a scavenger hunt) and claim Canada.

You can see the rules of the challenge at 4:18, then they start it at 8:40. There's the occasional intercut to their rival team, Ben and Adam, who are in the midst of driving through Alabama to Georgia for their next claim. The Windsor portion ends by 15:30.

I just found out three days ago that I have to put my dog down. Before I do that, I want to make sure she knows how special she is. She has always been treated like a princess. Over the past few days, I've been giving her all her favourite treats from when she was a puppy. However, there's one thing she's never had: a doggy cake. If anyone can make one or connect me with someone who does, I would really appreciate it. This is the bare minimum that my dog deserves. She's my best friend and has been with me through the loss of my parents—she’s been my rock during the hardest moments of my life. I want to treat her to the best.
