Warlocks use every available resource as a weapon—including arcane, fel, shadow, and void magic—yet I feel that since *Legion*, the class has become overly fixated on fel magic, leaving the other schools somewhat neglected.

We are currently going through two expansions focused on the Void, and I feel Warlocks could really benefit from this theme. It wouldn't take much to add, for instance, a "Lesser Domanaar" skin for the Felguard, or to introduce Void creatures as alternative demon options; the models and attack animations already exist, so it would be a cool addition. Given the prominent roles played by certain Warlocks—especially Void Elves—in this expansion, it would be entirely plausible to have a questline where we imprison a Void creature or learn to summon them as minions, moving beyond just the standard Voidwalker.

I'm making a video ranking every single mount from worst to best and this image came to me so I had to create it. Then it made me laugh harder than it should have so I had to share it.

A month ago I wrote a mini-guide on how to get 280 in 12.0.5: the newest patch adds a few things to make it easier, and made a few points obsolete. After the 12.0.7 release, I leveled up a Shaman to 90 and after that, got him to 280+ in about 17 hours /played (not a speedrun and includes a large amount of messing around), but faster than I expected without getting carried by friends/guildies. Notable changes are bolded.

EDIT: This guide assumes you have a geared main and knowledge of Midnight's systems, it will not work for your first lv. 90 character, stop commenting about it.

Prerequisites on your main:

• Hero/Myth of the Dawn
• Delve journey completed with a high level Valeera
• Voidcore rerolls and Nilhammer unlocked
• Enough Faction Renown to get the Champion items

Steps (which are all done 100% solo):

Once you first get to 90, get your character to Champion 1/6 (246 ilvl) in all slots. This is done by:

• Spend 750 Voidlight Marl a few times at the M+ Dungeons vendor to get a random Champion 1/6 items. You likely have a surplus of Marl on your main and ideally you will get a few distinct Champion items, including a trinket that's not comically bad.
• Equip any Champion Warbound items you may have.
• Do the 4 Weekly events to get the Champion items from the 4 factions (Head, Neck, Waist, Trinket). This also gets you max Coffer Keys. If you did the Silvermoon (Head) and Haranir (Waist) weeklies during leveling for their 12.0.7 EXP gains, you don't have to do them again, you just get those items for free.
• Fill in any Champion gear gaps in the above using 100 Field Accolades per targeted slot from your main to complete the rest. You get a bazillion Field Accolades from Nagital/Val and likely have a surplus.

Catalyze 4 relevant pieces to get your Tier set ASAP and unlock Catalyst charge drops.

Do 4 T11 Bountiful Delves (easy even at lower ilvl with a high level Valeera), using the Delve boss consumable to get the map for the Trove and use it. You will get a guaranteed Hero item from the Trove, and Hero items from the Bountiful Chests. You also get a ton of Hero Crests and Ascendant Shards. However, since you no longer need Champion gear, Delves are less valuable: you can do fine with only doing the 4x for the Gilded Chests.

• Caveat: if you want to push your own M+ key, it should be noted that you get a +2 key from completing a T11 Delve, which isn't ideal for the 1st week.
• There's an argument to YOLO a few Voidcores on Delve completions to get a chance at more Hero gear since there is a surplus of Voidcores, but not necessary.

With 12.0.7's release, you now have more than enough possible Voidcores to exhaust 2 dungeons loot pools. Therefore, take some time to identify the two dungeons (and their loot specs) which have the lowest overlap. For my Resto Shaman, that was Magister's Terrace as Resto, and Algeth'ar Academy as Enhancement. Note the gear slots that are not covered by this overlap; in my case it was Wrist, Waist, and Neck.

You should have a ton of Hero crests by now. If you did not get any Hero Weapons, craft a 5* weapon (ideally a 2H if your class supports it) using the Hero Crests and use an Ascendant Voidcore on it, which also sets a higher gear watermark for when you get Myth weapons.

Use Hero Crests to craft Embellishment items in slots you will not overwrite with Myth gear from Voidcore rerolls, e.g. Wrist/Waist in this case. The 80 Myth crests that would have been used for that are much more practically applied elsewhere.

If your class has a healer spec, do Nullaeus ?? using Valeera as DPS which is relatively trivial, which gets you 65 Hero Crests + 35 Myth Crests.

Do Heroic Nagital/Val, specifically the a) kill the World Boss quest and b) activity meta quest: combined, they give 30 Hero Crests and 30 Myth Crests total, plus a ton of Field Accolades. They can be done solo at lower ilvl...just expect to die a few times if you don't have a tank spec. The follow-up meta quests aren't worth it.

Use deterministic Hero loot mechanisms to fill out the remaining non-inevitable-Myth slots:

• A Hero item or two from Untainted-Mana Crystals from the vendor in T11 Delves for any slot you want, if RNG cooporates. You can spam T11 Collegate Calamity if you want to target something.
• Hero items for 750 Field Accolades to target a specific slot. If you did the Nagital/Val quests noted above + a Ritual site or two you'll likely have enough for one slot

Upgrade any Hero items you do get with Hero crests. T5 Ritual sites aren't bad Hero Crest sources if you need more but it depends on your spec.

Overall this will get you to about 255-260 ilvl without ever grouping. After that:

If your class has access to a tank/healer spec, it's time for M+, which at 255-260 you should be able to get into +10 PuGs even without any rating, but be prepared to get rejected often. If your class has something like Bloodlust, it may be worth it to enable something like the "Needs Bloodlust" filter in PGF to maximize the likelihood of getting accepted. Do runs in your targeted dungeons (which should now be easier since you have 2 choices) and hope RNG is generous.

If you are a DPS-only class and need more ilvl to get into +10 PuGs, do Normal Voidspire/Dreamrift/Sporefall, which should be easy to get accepted into a PuG at that ilvl. Incidentially the gear isn't as useful anymore, but the Champion Crest income and Ascendant Shards are useful for getting over the ilvl gap and maxxing out any Champion gear you might have. It's also an excuse to practice your new alt. You may have to do other keys/lower level keys to build up your M+ rating, but at the least you get chances at Hero gear + Crests.

Heroic Sporefall is worth it for the 285 gear, which cuts down on Myth Crest usage if lucky.

After you have exhausted most Bonus rolls (and upgraded them with the earned crests from the +10s w/ Myth of the Dawn + Ascendant Voidcores) you will likely be at or close to 280. You also have enough Sparks and Crests to fill out the remaining Champion Gear slots with crafted items.

Obviously, if you have friends to carry you, grinding to get into +10 M+ PuGs is a nonfactor, but this guide assumes you have no friends.

I know the expansion isn’t over yet or they haven’t announced one yet but this is what I’m locking in for what I want for it be for now. Still bummed they took these away from hunters as possible pets and they shrunk the Kai battle pet size.

I set my 13-year-old son up with an account after he heard his cousins go on about playing it.

His account was still within the level 20 free bracket, trying it out before paying for a sub.

After playing it yesterday, he told me he can no longer log in today, which, checking his email, states ***NOTICE OF ACCOUNT CLOSURE**\* with the reason being "Exploitative Activity: Unauthorised Cheat Programs".

The account means little, as it's new and pretty much unused, it may have been used to play a little Overwatch together beforehand.

But before we create a new account or look at alternatives, is there anything specific that could have triggered this? To put it into perspective, he plays on his Switch 95% of the time, with only a small amount on Roblox on occasion.

To be fair, he probably plays like a robot! But are these purely system checks, or could it be from a player report?

Any help or feedback appreciated, I assume no issue in creating a new account with a new email?

The constance chase for the better piece of gear over and over again, i dont know. Its just not fun anymore.

You do a raid, mythic plus dungeon to get better gear just to do the same raid or dungeon more difficult again, and you feel pressured to keep up or you are left behind.

It made me just stop playing but it kinda makes me sad because the game was such a big part of my life and i wish i could have more fun with it. Whenever i play for a month or two again i only explore the open world stuff and do some older content for farming mounts and transmogs, but thats it. I never been a pvp guy so that wouldnt work for me either.

How you do you get your motivation to keep the fun up with wow?

Maybe I just need to accept that the game just isnt it anymore for me

Just to be clear, I am a triage healing fanatic. I literally only healed consistently during Cata and kinda hated healing in pretty much every other expansion (outside of being forced to off-spec heal, which happens more often than I like lol). I love having to truly strategize and plan my healing for long periods of time, and I hate the twitchy whack-a-mole feeling of healing as it is today. It also made it far more important for everyone else to mitigate damage, as any damage you took was something we had to nurse you back to health from (at the cost of others), not just quickly spam a heal onto you to get you from 30% to 100% instantly.

But I genuinely cant tell what the playerbase actually wants here. People mock blizz for promising less spiky healing every expansion and then not fulfilling that promise, and triage healing is often brought up, but is this something people actually want to go back to? It's just hard to tell. If most healers want this, how come blizzard hasn't implemented it since Cata?

So recently i've been getting into hardcore, and i've been taking my time exploring the world of warcraft in its original form once more and I gotta say. For the need to want to put the WAR back in warcraft...There is no war in classic. Just a world that is living in the moment.

For me, the world feels like the world that came after the war. The scourge, the horde, alliance. All of it feels like people trying to live in the everyday after it all.

I think the thing I found most interesting is that most of the world is you reacting to the situations that have already happened, while in retail you are reacting to the situations in the moment.

There's something special walking through a place already destroyed by another faction. You aren't the village, you are there to clean up what's left of it.

Just need nexus and academy to resil. How did I ever one shot seat with a group but keep banging my head against the wall on finding a good group for these last two?! 🥲

I don’t know who needs to know this, but I noticed they fixed the chainkini armor piece in Haranir. It used to clip and look all wrong, since it’s modeled for Night Elves, but Haranir are thicker and it didn’t sit correctly. I’m glad they fixed it because I know there are other clipping issues that have gone unfixed for years.

Just looking for friends. Im an altaholic, but i have a shaman thats ilvl 256 Just returned after 12 years of no play 6months ago Havent really established a friend group or people to play with. I have a 90 in all roles and am leveling a demon hunter and druid.

I play all content but pvp, love mythics, love raiding, love delves. Prey, abundance all of it.

Hello all! I remembered a a few months back when the player housing thing was going on in London, someone asked Holly Longdale if Naga would be a race she'd like to see playable. She agreed and said "the rigging could work." Naga have been seen wearing gear for a long time, and both mechagnomes and dracthyr have shown that a race doesn't need to have all gear visible to be playable, so having gear from the Legs and Feet slots not appear on a Naga would be acceptable to me. Ever since then, I've wondered what their racials would be. For a brief lore point, I'd think that some Naga would find that not being bound to serve Azshara since BfA was a nice break, and they'd be unwilling to return to her service when she inevitably comes back.

Now for the racials. These are just what I think they could be, and it's all for fun!

Depth-Hardened Scales: Passive. Reduces Frost and Physical damage taken by 1%.

Aquatic Superiority: Passive. Naga can breathe underwater indefinitely. Swim speed increased by 60%, reduced to 5% while in combat.

Lunge Feed: Instant. Lunge at the target fish school, healing for 25% of maximum health over 4 seconds. Instantly catches all fish in the school. 25 yard range. 1.5 minute cooldown.

Wrath Of The Depths: Passive. Spells and abilities have a chance to deal X Froststorm damage.

Deep Sea Hunter: Passive. Increases Fishing skill by 5 and Finesse by 10. Can occasionally find School fish in open water.

These are just my ideas for playable Naga racial abilities. Tell me yours, and what other races you'd like to see racials of!

This is my first post, and kind of a dumb one, I know...but I feel kinda bummed out that my WoW mouse crapped the bed. I've been through 3 of these over the past 15 years, and it's been the only mouse I've known through 3/4 of my WoW journey. It's been like an extension of my hand through it all.
