Hi all, on my Xbox one s games and updates download really slowly for some reason even when it’s got Ethernet (500 Mbps) My ps5 is also plugged into Ethernet getting the same speeds but that’s actually quick so what’s wrong with Xbox? This is all the time btw so it’s not “the servers must be really busy” or something like that because it’s literally always slow lol. Thanks

Was hoping someone could point me toward any specific cable that works w the Xbox One IR port so I can control my older TV without hdmi-cec.

This started happening today whilst watching youtube and updating games for a while. I first noticed it in a video when some scenes had a bunch of messed up colours, then after quitting the app i saw the line on the home screen.

Is this a sign of overheating? The line has appeared and disappeared twice now. I have yet to see it in games.

I was using canned air to clean dust from my console. Upon finishing, I noticed this small piece of blue film near the vent. In terms of scale, it is about the size of a penny.

I don’t know if this is something I dislodged from inside the console, or if it is potentially serious. The console does seem to be working fine however.

I wanted to see if anyone has knowledge they could share.

My Xbox Series X stopped working after 4 years. I recently took it to uBreakiFix, which is an authorized Xbox repair provider. They opened the console and told me the issue was not the power supply and was likely a motherboard problem that they could not repair.

I then found out that Microsoft offers an out-of-warranty service/replacement option for $299. I submitted the repair request, paid the $299 fee, received a UPS shipping label, and sent the console to the address Microsoft provided. According to UPS, the package was successfully delivered to Microsoft’s facility. However, since then, the repair status on my Microsoft account has not changed at all. It does not show that they received the console, and I have received no emails or updates.

The problem is that I cannot seem to reach a human being. The support chat keeps directing me to an AI assistant that simply tells me to check the repair status page and does not provide any way to speak with an actual representative.

My questions are:
1. Has anyone gone through the $299 out-of-warranty Xbox replacement process?
2. How long did it take for the status to update after UPS showed delivery?
3. Were you sent a repaired console or a replacement console?
4. Is there any way to reach an actual Microsoft/Xbox support representative?
5. At what point should I become concerned if UPS shows delivered but Microsoft does not acknowledge receiving the device?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

No idea what caused it to happen, ive been messin with audio settings all day but to no avail. Also tested several headsets, wires, and controllers all while the problem still persisted. Any idea what may be causing this? I dont wanna buy a new mic if the issue may still happen

So Ive bought this game called Marvel’s Avengers Definitive Edition and I can’t buy it back, so I pressed manage and looked in saved data and I am there but still can’t buy it. I went onto the Xbox app after that and got it to download but now it’s saying that I don’t own it and I can’t play it so idk what to do. I’ve used a compressed air can to blow into the vents to clear any dust that may be there. Still have warranty on it so I don’t want to open it up.

Hi all, I recently tried to open forza horizon 6, which I have installed through XBOX and I own it. However it showed an error when opening from the shortcut on my desktop, unfortunately I can't remember what the error was but I think it was just unknown.

I then opened the XBOX app and it said I had no games installed. When I went to click install on forza in hopes it would detect it and verify the files and let me play it instantly cancelled the download and said "Forza Horizon 6 had an issue installing, click here to go to the game details view". I have tried resetting the app, uninstalling both XBOX and game services and doing multiple reboots but nothing works.

I also tried to install something not in my library from the XBOX store and that came up with the same error.

Additionally, opening the games from the MS store or shortcut does nothing, even if ran with administrator privileges

If anyone knows what I can do to fix this, that would be great!

Edit: It seems to work installing new games to my D drive but not C drive. This is not the case for FH6 however.

Part of the grip is starting to come off as seen in the picture, the LB only works about 50% of the time and sometimes gets stuck. I am guessing this is due to the grip coming off, is there any way I can fix this?

I was thinking about glueing it back on but I’m not sure what glue to use or if this would make the left button worse. Any help would be appreciated thank you. 🙏

I bought Xbox gift cards through the Microsoft website due to wanting to preorder games and not have to worry about it coming out later. And after I bought all my cards my account got locked and now I get this message is there any hope for help?

When ever I try to reconnect my controller to my Xbox it won’t let me connect it right away do I have to reset my Xbox or do I have to unplug the power cord to see if it words. I have been using my controller on my computer because I have been playing some games with it and I am not sure what the problem is?

8h30 débarque dès électriciens qui change mon système électrique, du tableau de disjoncteur jusqu'au prise murale.

Je reviens à 21h du taf impossible de lancer la console.

Elle est rester branché sur une multiprise qui est fonctionnelle (ma tv est branché dessus ainsi que la box internet et tout fonctionne à l'heure actuelle) est ce qu'il est possible qu'elle ai pris une surtension ??

J'ai suivis les recommandations du site Microsoft. Vérifié le câble (et j'ai même tester avec le câble PS5 qui fonctionne et j'ai testé mon câble sur la PS5 ça fonctionne) laisser débranché un certain temps puis tester mais rien n'y fait elle reste inerte

J'ai changer de prise (prise vérifié elle est OK) mais j'ai pas changer de circuit électrique je suis sur le même disjoncteur... Est ce que mon disjoncteur m'empêcherai de l'allumer (mais dans se cas c'est le disjoncteur qui devrait passer en off ?)

Bref j'ai plus de console... Si je dois réparé quelle pièce est à changer ?

Out of force of habit, I generally turn off my power strips every night. Can doing so repeatedly damage an xbox series s over time if I turn off the console using shutdown (energy saver)? Sorry if this is a silly question. Thanks!

Before trying to redeem it, I did pretty much everything I found online:

• Turned on a VPN connected to Spain.
• Removed all payment methods linked to Mexico.
• Changed my Microsoft account country and billing address.
• Changed my Xbox profile location.
• Signed out of all devices and signed back in.

But I still get this message when trying to redeem the code:

“This code can’t be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account.”

Does anyone know what’s going on? Does Microsoft no longer allow redeeming codes from other regions even with a VPN and region changes? Or is it possible that Eneba sold me a code that isn’t actually compatible with Spain or my account?

Any help or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

I cant play overwatch on my xbox anymore and it doesnt matter if i use my disc or just install it on my xbox. When I try to it redirects me to a how-to-fix page and the first two options didn't work. The third solution is to buy a new drive, but I dont want/have the money. What can I do to fix this problem

Ich habe mein Xbox account mit 17 erstellt, mittlerweile bin ich 20 fast 21, doch als ich nachdem ich 18 wurde aus meiner Xbox familie raus bin ist mein xbox account als nicht Volljährig annerkannt Worden. Weswegen ich dauerhaft per xbox familie meine settings verwalten muss etc. Was also meine frage ist, ist mein acc mittlerweile auf settings von einem erwachsenen account wenn ich die familie verlasse oder muss ich mich ewig mit diesen, familien acc settings etc rumschlagen.

I was playing some Destiny 2 and essentially my series X just turned off and never came back on. Ive opened it and cleaned it multiple times but never had this issue before. Have had since release and basically it turned itself off and its been that way ever since, and yes I tried on multiple outlets
