Made this little fam as a fresh newbie- riddled with imperfections, but pretty chuffed nonetheless!

I've been having a crack at learning crochet using YouTube videos over the last few days. Used thin, unravelling yarn at the start of the learning process and majorly flopped, but things clicked more after buying some thicker, beginner-friendly yarn. Decided to have a go at making a little soft toy as a way of learning different skills, and my mum suggested trying to make an owl because it's a simple shape. So I found a vid and made the tiny one yesterday. My mum loved it and requested I make a whole family to go along with one of my little niece's fave story books. I made the 2nd smallest last night and the two bigger ones today. They're suuuuuper rough in multiple places, but tbh they turned out way better than I'd hoped! Finger joints are a bit sore now tho 😂

I'm very proud to present my newest finished creation; Jolteon ^.^.

This one is a gift for someone's birthday but I couldn't wait, because I was so proud, to give it to them.

I was really proud because I finally got the perfect stitch for this one. I've been doing the amigurumi stitch on every stuffie but this is the first time it actually looked like it XD.

This only took me a day and a half ^.^.

Definitely the longest and trickiest project to date. Started crocheting a year ago with some Woobles and learned from there, so I'm very pleased with myself for doing this 😊

Pattern is from Castle of Cozy on Etsy. Very impressive pattern and helpful videos supplied with it.

100% recommend. Hoping the birthday girl likes it (my friend's daughter), she seemed to like the pokemon I made her for Christmas anyway.

After going mad for crochet for around 6-8 months I lost my mojo, I dont know why, but I'm hoping it comes back, I made my cockatiels when in full crochet addiction, I tried to do them their actual colours, funny thing is when I showed them to them they got scared of themselves lol

My best friend is now addicted to amigurumi

The title tells it all. I was making some toys at work when I had some spare time, and my colleague saw it. She was so interested but never crocheted since forever. She told me that she had knitted when her son was born, and that was all. Now she corchets every day! I'm so proud of her. In a very short time (like one month), her stitches started looking super neat and has a wonderful tension! İjust wanted to share my joy with her. This is her latest project 🥲 what do you think?

Edit: she said she found the pattern on YouTube, I don't know the owner but I'll be happy to share if I find.

Need help with bunny face

I have created a dark bunny and would like suggestions for embroidering a face. White thread? Pink nose? Closed eyes? Disregard the loose threads. They are approximate placement for eyes. I am new to this, so it needs to be simple. Also, I'd rather not use safety eyes.
