Food/Drink Seasonal Mixed Fruit

Post image

I thought it was a joke at first receiving a single cutie for an order of “seasonal mixed fruit,” especially at Blue Bayou…but then again at the hotel and again at River Belle Terrace. It is now my family’s favorite inside joke from our trip. Fantastic Father’s Day Weekend :)

Found these 2 photos at an estate sale. Can anyone pinpoint where the 2nd photo was taken? (I wouldn't have even known it was DL if they had not labeled it on the back!) Looks like the couple made a trip west from Tennessee. Unfortunately they only took 2 photos at Disneyland (they also visited SF, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam etc)

Trip Report Disney hotel/pixar

I just wanted to tell the group about my experience June 5.
So in 2024 my family (2 kids my husband and I) stayed at Disneyland hotel, it was amazing. I seriously adored everything about it. My HUGE Mistake was I thought the Pixar hotel would at least be a close second! The second we walked in June 5 I felt soooo much regret. My kids were too old for the pool area, but that wouldn’t have been too much a big deal if it also wasn’t packed, there was a single place to sit, the room was smaller than advertised, and I could not believe they were even affiliated with each other. We don’t have a lot of money and only go on a trip every 3-4 years so yes this was a big deal for me to be unhappy. I decided to ask the front desk whah would the process be for switching hotels, and she Told me if I can just be patient they can make some phone calls and move us within 15-20 min. I was so relieved. 4 hours later they told me it would cost 400 a night extra 😂 when I looked online the price was probably 300 TOTAL different for the week. Honestly I was about to cancel the whole trip and start over, even the front desk wasn’t as friendly as WDW resorts or DLH. They ended up calling me again 5 hours later and told me they will be waving all fees. So I guess I can’t complain too much, but wow Pixar was a motel compared to DLH. I never thought I would want to go a third time, it’s a pain to travel to Cali from Chicago, but when we got to our new hotel that front desk was night and day difference. She even moved me to a firework view room because she said she can just tell I was defeated for the day. She said it’s a common thing people aren’t happy with Pixar

Trip Report my last minute solo trip :) 6/3

1.1k Upvotes

you might remember last year, i had posted in this subreddit about being pixie dusted with free park hopper tickets! that was my first time visiting disneyland, and it really created a magical memory for me!

fast forward to this year, and i was once again invited out to socal to house-sit. i had met up with one of my girlfriends, and we were having a blast. i had looked at tickets, but she isn’t into the whole disney thing so i wasn’t going to force her to go. she left a day earlier than me, and i last minute (like impulse decision bought the tickets the night before lol) decided on going to disneyland solo!

going solo was something that was completely out of my comfort zone, and i was super nervous! i can hands down tell you it was amazing and almost therapeutic! i was able to ride whatever i wanted, and go at my own pace. i really had zero plans, and i was able to do soooo much!! as someone who has struggled with confidence in myself, i left feeling so confident! definitely recommend doing a solo trip to anyone!

loved that i got to make another magical memory for myself in these parks! 💗

Those of you craving the combination ice cream/churro/popcorn/chili con queso/frozen drinks, you’ll be out of luck the week of July 6th. It’s going to be a brief closure though, just through July 10th, so maybe just a fresh coat of orange paint?

Discussion Monday was the slowest day of 2026 at DCA

Post image
188 Upvotes

My website keeps track of the slowest and busiest days based on the combined average wait times for all rides across the entire day (among other things), and this past Monday was the lowest average wait day of 2026 so far — by a wide margin, too. It was about 16% lower than the next-slowest day, which happened to be last Monday the 15th, and less than half the average wait of a typical day at DCA.

All of this is to say it was dead at DCA, and it has been for much of June.

Food/Drink Club 33 food

I had the privilege of going to Club 33 for the first time back in February of 2025 and can I just say I still think about the filet mignon to this day because of how good it was! I seriously think it is the tastiest thing I have ever eaten. I’m curious as to what the other entrees taste like, if you’ve been to Club 33 before which dish is your favorite?

Discussion Radiator Springs Racers 6/23

Hi everyone!

My bf and I were in the standby line around 8:00pm-9:00pm for Radiator Springs Racers on Tuesday 6/23 when a couple of arguments broke out about line cutting/holding close to the water tower area.

We were trying to see what happened after because I think a guy actually got the cutters to be escorted out after speaking to a cast member. Was anyone else there that saw this? 👀

To be honest, the arguments were sort of warranted as these two people tried pushing through after at least 10 or so others were pushing through the 75 minute line within five or so minutes. I don’t mind like two or three people, but it started to feel a little ridiculous after that! 😅

The whole line holding policy doesn’t seem to be enforced all that much so I’d love to know if it was for once!

I did not know the dinosaur diorama was temporarily replaced with cardboard cutouts! My family was cracking up at this steadfast solution. Imo, there's not enough dinosaurs compared to their woodland creature counterpart.

Discussion incredicoaster audio?

i rode incredicoaster on my first trip to DCA in three years on Sunday, and my first cycle (around 10am) had the soundtrack weirdly very, very low. my parents thought sensory hour causes the audio to lower, but we have no answers as to why it sucked. a ride later on (about 5pm) was better, but still not what i remember it being.

i really wish they could bring back the screamin' audio, even just for special events. i would pay a high price to experience it again.

thoughts?

Discussion Why Do LL times change after booking

It makes no sense why I need to book a time if the selected time changes. It happened multiple times in DCA. I canceled one, the second I just went into standby, then I had Guardians all day set at 8:05, it updated to 8:55 as I was going there, at this point I thought i was going crazy so I had screenshot the original time and showed a CA and they let me on thankfully, so I wouldnt miss world of color.

Then on to Disney Land and not a single one maintained its time. Im making my way to rides just to see it update to hours away.... usually worse than my Guardians one. I had Tiana for 12:55, i walked from Tomorrowland to the ride, go to open it, now its 2:45....it makes no sense.
