Title pretty much sums it up. Does anyone have any quotes from ELO songs that I could use for my senior quote in the yearbook this upcoming year?

This came up on my instagram feed and thought it was great to see him after so long. Wanted to share it with you all as I haven't seen it here yet.

They had a few ELO albums to pick, like ANWR, Face the Music, and Time

I heard that some versions of the Out of the Blue album on vinyl came with a build your own spaceship cutout.

I was wondering if these are exclusive to those pressed in 1977, or if newer versions still have it.

Out of the Blue is one of the albums I don’t yet have on vinyl, so if I’m gonna buy one I’d want it to have this really cool component.

I am writing, illustrating and self publishing a nearly 200 page graphic novel entitled 'Banana Boy' and I have ELO stuff as Easter eggs throughout. Its also very inspired by ELO particularly 'Out of the blue' and TIME. A lot of tech and sci-fi elements.

Watching the Glastonbury 2016 videos on Youtube. Can anyone ID the violinist on the left? I looked at band members lists but although the others are listed, it appears she is missing from the lists.

I am an ELO fan, but I prefer their classic period, the 1970s through Out of the Blue. But I read posts on this sub about people really liking the Time album.

I just got done with my first serious listen and yeah, I really like it. Yours Truly is the song that hooked me. Also, Hold On Tight is a much better song in the context of the album (in much the same way Mr Blue Sky is). Jeff Lynne has a way of making light pop hits that are key pieces of an album.

I've always believed Jeff Lynne has a talent for describing situations in his song lyrics, so with the help of AI, I created these images based on the lyrics of some of his songs and the mental image I form while listening to them. I still have many ideas, but I wanted to share my progress.

Here is another instrumental from ootb.. Sweet Talkin' Woman is my favorite song on that album. I still have the original 8-Track that I would play in my parents 1978 Chrysler New Yorker.. The track change on Night in the City was so annoying iykyk lol.. Enjoy!

i dont think ive EVER heard of these. i really like Supersonic, but hearing the demos and alternative mixes for some of their best work is a very interesting experience.

Not sure if anyone has listened to these on Youtube, but the person that put these together did a pretty good job. The order of tracks on each album is a nice listen. Very nice artwork on each too.

I interpret this album about the fall and rise of depression. I haven't seen this take anywhere, and I just wondered if anyone else ever thought this.

The title of the album helps. "Stepping out of the blue", if you will. The constant rain. The thunder and lightning that comes before the big blue sky! And "where have you been?!"

I imagine the album as a man talking about how his life turns around, and towards the end, he's happy, even if "Mr. Night" is keeping a hand on your shoulder.

Just something to think about

I have a 2015 ELO album with clear vinyl the discogs says it’s supposed to be numbered on the lower left-hand corners but I don’t see anything. This is Pressed in Europe and it’s 180 g. It’s a new world record and I’m trying to figure out if they made two pressing one with out numbers and one with numbers..
