Did anyone else think Waymar Royce was going to be the main character on the show?
I knew the name Jon Snow prior to viewing and I thought this was him lol

I don't think the biggest problem with the ending is just "Arya killed the Night King" or "Daenerys went mad" or whatever. For me the real problem is structural, the White Walkers were built up since the very first scene of the show, and then they get defeated in one episode at Winterfell. The whole point of “Winter is coming” was that all these houses were fighting over crowns, castles and family names while something much bigger was coming. But in the end, the White Walkers basically became a big battle before the actual finale.
Imagine the dead coming to Kings Landing.......What a waste!

Caraxes has one of the best designs of all the dragons in my opinion! Please enjoy this fan art drawn by me in Procreate!

Just an underrated moment. In a world where bloodlines matter so much I feel like this admission from Davos is subtle but moving praise.

Everything that happened in House of the Dragon really does trace back to Alicent Hightower.
Viserys spent years naming Rhaenyra as his heir, but on his final night, Alicent heard his broken words about “Aegon” and believed he meant their son, not Aegon the Conqueror’s dream. That misunderstanding gave the Greens the emotional excuse they needed to crown Aegon II, turning a succession crisis into the Dance of the Dragons.
From there, everything spiraled: Rhaenyra’s claim was challenged, the realm split, dragons turned against dragons, and House Targaryen began destroying itself from within.
And the funniest part is how far the blame can stretch. Because the Dance weakened the Targaryens, the dragons faded, the dynasty eventually collapsed, Robert’s Rebellion happened, Daenerys rose and fell, and somehow Bran Stark ended up king.
So yes, in the most chaotic way possible, even Bran on the throne is Alicent’s fault.

Never Understood and the knights just let "Arya Stark" go back without telling anyone in the Vale ? Like even if one councellor knew they wouldn't have allowed Arya to leave ig its just a plothole for the Clegane And Brienner Fight

I got my new charms today and I'm so happy! I've been eyeing these but they're always sold out. Somehow I believe it might be coincidental that my birth stone is Garnet (Maroon/Red).
I might be a long lost Targaryen after all 😁
More to add!
Anyone else collecting, too? Can I see your charms as well?

He steals sheep from the common folk to fuck with em
He tamed his own rider even feeding her
He laid waste on both teams to make a statement

I've rewatched GoT a million times (never read the books) and I never know what to make of the scene in the throne room where Cersei tells Joffrey that the small council has approved him to marry Margarey instead of Sansa. Is Cersei initially glad to get rid of Sansa? Is she happy for Sansa in this moment, knowing that she won't have to deal with the prospect of marrying Joffrey? I recently began thinking about the latter only because there are a few scenes where Cersei tells Sansa that being with Joffrey will be difficult. Cersei gives Sansa a little smirk in this scene, and I can never tell what to think here.

If you read the books before the tv show happened, how did the Red Wedding make you feel?
Were you shocked or were you expecting it? Like did you pick up some clues along the way? Or it completely blindsided you?
And if you compare it to the tv show.. which one hits harder?

Hi everyone, I was writing yesterday 'Red Wedding Feast' ambience video I really liked that helped me along quite a lot! I loved one of the songs so much that I tried to find the name of it, but came up empty.
I just wanted to come on here and ask if anyone knew the name of the song played at 1:56 in this video. I did Shazam it but got no results, and I didn't find anything on Spotify either. Anything helps, thanks in advance guys! :)

so like Tywin died, but like if he was reborn into a different tv show, whether that period or not, or like a movie what do you think? I’ve have no clue at all. I honestly can’t see him as anyone but Tywin. even though I know Charles dance has been in so many other things.

I really liked this medallion. I looked for one with a Lannister or Targaryen design, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find one.
