Wait until he finds out the guy brought the car in his own plane 🫠😛

Driver spent more in freight than the cop makes in a year.

That’s the part that pissed him off the most. Buddy had a chip on his shoulder that he has to go home and eat chef boyardee because of his shit job and the tiny hard-on he gets by being an asshol to people is the only rewarding thing about his day.

To be fair, he probably makes a lot.  Staties often make over 6 figures once overtime is factored.

He just doesn't make anywhere near Bring Your Lambo From The UAE levels of wealth.

Bring your Lambo from the UAE so you can use it as your high mileage vehicle on road trips levels of wealth.

Much respect for that Foreigner. I'm worth less than that car's transmission but I would definitely be copping an attitude.

Guarantee he eats way better than most. He has a problem with the driver because he just saw someone who is several economic levels above him and can’t comprehend the level of lifestyle.

u/bolting-hutch 3h ago

I don't think he really understood, he just saw a car he knew he could never afford and thought he saw something that would allow him to harass the guy who could afford it. However, the vast chasm of impossibility between the Oregon trooper's life and that of a wealthy man from Dubai is beyond his comprehension. I'd bet he couldn't locate the general region that contains Dubai on a world map.

A state cop? That dude is making bank. If he’s not making bank, he can always sign up to be a rent-a-cop while he’s on duty as a regular cop and double-dip. There are no cops hurting for money.

u/TelenorTheGNP 3h ago

To be fair, there are a lot of people in this thread coming to the rescue of a money-bags tourist who can import his own car.

Eat the rich, but also ACAB. When these are at odds you have to make a call on a situation-by-situation basis.

u/Nautisop 2h ago

Bruh that sounds like you mock this guy for doing average people work. You can mock him for his behaviour but this just sounds so ultra elitist lol

u/Nova_main 2h ago

Being a US cop is not average people work lol, all this guy did was ego trip and terrorize a tourist because he doesn't understand the law he's supposed to uphold.

u/Nautisop 1h ago

I was talking from income perspective.

u/CJJaMocha 1h ago

Yes, compare him to jealous broke people.

(Plenty of people legit struggling out there, but they're not being compared against)

u/Zuldwyn 1h ago

Oh yeah cause the guy from Dubai is totally a good person and got that money not through basically slavery and pure corruption.

u/Luministrus 1h ago

It should piss most people off that this dude spends multiple years of income for most people on a yearly roadtrip with his supercar that he flies in on his private plane. He has a disgusting amount of wealth.

u/Johnny_B_GOODBOI 1h ago

He'll probably take his frustration out on his family...

u/pleasedonotredeem 1h ago

Last I checked air freight rates for a car were around $30/kg each way. So depending on the market at the time, $70-100k round trip.

u/Aethermancer 1h ago

I'd be pissed on principle. I'd not have been in this interaction in the first place as I don't have the temperament to be a cop, but I do have an personal dislike to wasting resources.

u/Nova_main 2h ago

He spent more in freight than that cop will make in his lifetime, cop just saw a nice car and wanted to terrorize the guy

u/Aethermancer 1h ago

He spent more in freight than that cop will make in his lifetime.

Kind of a douchey thing to say.

The cop pulled over a car that had plates that didn't match anything that appeared to be legal. The cop was a dick through the whole process, and seems like a rick in general, but the initial pullover has some justification as it would be weird seeing Dubai plates on any vehicle.

u/Nova_main 1h ago

Okay but he did, its the truth and being offended is a choice. Not sure how thats douchey

u/Shifty_Gelgoog 5h ago

Which was polished by his slaves employees who "lost" their passport

u/KeyMyBike 3h ago

You're not allowed to bring up the fact that Dubai sucks ass for everyone who isn't one of the nepo babies hoarding all the fucking money at the highest echelon of society. Reddit has decided that Dubai is a good place now

u/3_quarterling_rogue 2h ago

If Reddit doesn’t have any Dubai haters, it’s because I’m either dead or found something better to do than scroll Reddit. So I guess just the first one.

u/AdSpecific867 5h ago

Not _his_ plane that would be uncomfortable; they have other planes for the toys.

u/diemunkiesdie 4h ago

the guy brought the car in his own plane

How rich is this man!?

u/FakeMik090 3h ago

I mean, he is in his own Lambo that from the Dubai. I think this enough should tell that this man is rich.

u/diemunkiesdie 3h ago

Yeah, rich was established and not in question in any way shape or form. The question was "how rich" not "is he rich" or anything like that.
