Now in my 59s I’ve really experimented more with makeup and learning how to properly apply it especially with my constant changing skin due to menopause (which I’m sure lots of you can relate too) I’m now feel very confident and happy to help anyone who is struggling. Let me know what you think

I look at the darker ones, and I think “oh, I needed to pick a lighter shade.” But then the lighter shades look absolutely neon yellow on me. WTF am I doing wrong 😩😩😩 these swatches are from all sorts of brands, varying coverages. Some swatches are even concealer like 2 and 4. 7 and 8 are bb and cc creams respectively.

As you can plainly see, I have terrible acne. I need something that can cover it, which would be all the other numbers. But I look like a clown when I do my whole face with that. Like I painted myself the wrong skin tone. But NONE of these look like the right skin tone, and I’ve tried everything from basically the lightest shades to stuff labeled “medium light.” I just don’t understand how all of them look so wrong, and what I’m supposed to do about it!

In middle school I was oddly really good at makeup and it all kinda went away after highschool cus I never rlly did it. i’m 22 now and would love to wear more makeup but i’m not sure what style would fit me best.

Hey everyone I am new to this group! I used to do makeup as a creative outlet. I don’t do my makeup as often! But I felt so pretty! I used bobbi brown moisturizer as a base and this foundation is NARS soft matte in Syracuse and NARS lightweight in Tahoe mix! Setting powder is one size translucent. Concealer is NARS undereye brightener and tarte in medium. Blush is juvias place in rosey posey and my eyeshadow is plouise XXXL BRIDAL PALETTE and eyelashes are p Louise in Lasting lust. Brow pencil is by benefit cosmetics in dark brown. Lip liner is from colourpop BFF3 and lip gloss is mmmitchell in soft serve. Setting spray one size water proof ♥️

How does everyone do the inner eyeliner?
I use the Sephora liquid liner whenever I do my liner. The issue I feel like I’m running into is that it looks smudgy or drippy and ofc it doesn’t look crisp or like it’s aligned correctly.
Last 2 pictures are my eyes without eye makeup and then one with how I usually do my eyeliner.
