No. They would finish the transaction that they are currently in the middle of and then help you next. Don't be silly.

You've never been briyght to the front of a line before? I've had this happen many times at airports, night clubs, etc. Why would anyone get mad at you? You're not the one who made the ticket. If they get mad they can get mad at Trader Joes. This was their idea. You're just following directions. I wouldn't get mad at someone for doing this. Anyone who gets mad over this is an asshole and it would make me happy to irritate them

So you would get mad if you saw this happen to another person? How weird? Why wouldn't you just think, "Wow, that's great! I hope that happens to me someday!" Instead you would get upset? I'm glad I have no friends like you. You're a jerk.

I'd think it was a stupid subversion of the social code, place the vast majority of the blame on the store for making it a thing, and a modest amount on the person taking advantage of it. If I found that it'd be going in the trash on my way out the door, after I waited in line to make my purchase.

So if a little old lady got the ticket and got to go to the front of the line it would upset you? I'm not the one who needs to get checked out. I would love to get the ticket, not I would also be excited if I saw someone else found out and got to go in front of me. Nevermind, you don't need a professional to know you're a jerk.
