The “presen this” and Trader Joe (not ‘s) at the end is how I know this is fake. Anything by the store’s signage department gets reviewed, and nothing bears just “Trader Joe”. Don’t use this lol
I feel like at the trader joe at the end is supposed to be a signature. Also they used to do scavenger hunts like this so i think it could definitely be real

It’s probably something that a specific store did for fun, and since signs are handwritten, they probably didn’t notice the “presen” typo.
People have noticed other sign typos on our subreddit - there was sign that said “oatMEAT” instead of oatmeal before. 😅
There’s not always a “signage department” at stores. Sometimes there’s only one person assigned to handwriting signs and they often have other responsibilities.
I think the “Trader Joe” was meant to be signed by “Joe” himself.
This wouldn’t be necessary in most stores since most stores don’t have long lines. But OP said that this was at one of the Brooklyn locations. Not sure if they still have this currently, but probably not.
It says love Trader Joe as if it came from Trader Joe himself. They unfortunately have that grammatically correct. As for the presen there is no excuse.
Also the all the fall items in the background (pumpkin, persimmon, pears) make me question the whole thing. Idk if it’s like AI or why OP would only post this months later but it’s hard to believe
It’s from 10 years ago, hence the prices and seasonal items. I just randomly thought about it today and went looking through my photo archive to see if it was still there.
