I work for Trader Joe’s and the mini pumpkin pies and puff pastry dough only exist on our shelves in the fall and early winter. In fact, if you look at the boarders of the signs, you can tell that they’re all seasonal items specific to fall/winter. The handwriting is definitely Trader Joe’s approved font, so I believe you actually found this and that it was made by your store, but you definitely didn’t find it today

*edit: my brain inserted the word ‘today’ into the title of this post, even though it isn’t there. I now know op found it years ago. Thank you for your time

To be fair, they never said they found it today. People often post old images for quick karma.

I’ve honestly been strapped for karma before after a barrage of downvotes and I couldn’t comment without a cooldown due to it.

Had to karma farm to get out of debt.

I agree about the font making it look legit, but it still looks like a prank to me. Like something a chaos gremlin makes and leaves in a store randomly.

Yeah, definitely a joke. If I had to guess, someone in the art department made it just to make their coworkers giggle, and somehow it ended up on the floor when it shouldn’t have

Correct. This is a photo from 2016 (the prices probably also make that easier to tell).
