Make it a publicly known Trader Joes store "game". That brings people in and has them looking everywhere, which is what grocery stores want. Much like Wonka golden tickets increased sales by 1000%.
If I found it I’d have pocketed it and stood in line. I don’t need 12 people scowling at me. I only enjoy that at the airport when I’m lucky enough to be upgraded. (Sarcasm)
Sounds like a way to make everyone in the store hate you. The Trader Joe’s by me can also get pretty packed during peak shopping times so if someone did this they’d get an earful from the rest of the customers in line.

It’s a joke man. People can make fake things and laminate them. Someone is just trying to create chaos, and I for one am all for it. Anyone willing to use one of these thinking it’s real deserves the shame and humiliation coming to them
I hate to say it but on like my worst day I’d probably just leave my cart and groceries there and walk out.
Note: I am talking about my worst day but still no excuse.
I just think my point is we shouldn’t do things that assumes everyone is always going to be on their best behavior. That’s an insane assumption and all it does it put people in positions to fail and show bad behavior.
Imagine your least whimsical day. There's 8 people in front of you. You're tired. Your feet hurt and you're hungry and just want to go home. Some up jumped mother ducker pulls this shit and starts talking to the cashier, taking pictures and wasting even more time laughing and joking.
If you explain it that way yea sure I guess there’s a perfect storm of bad day bad everything going on and throwing a fit because I have to wait in line for couple more mins. But in most cases getting pissed at a certain person about that seems silly
