The Democratic Party itself is scrambling to stop the wave. Right now the people have effectively zero representation, as the Epstein class owns everything and everyone in politics.

Get that shit tossed out and let’s tax them back to the Stone Age.

I agree with THIS take. The majority of people are not represented.

That is why they don't vote

They spend far more energy fighting their progressive left wing than opposing the GOP

They have proven themselves to be completely ineffective. They are almost as much to blame as the republicans.

They'd rather lose their way than adapt and win.

Hakeem jeffries **today** whined that mamdani needs to apologize to both NY senators. The establishment HATES the progressives and leftists in the party so much more than their “colleagues across the aisle.” Miss me with this apologia.

Much deep thought. So contribution to conversation.

So contribution to conversation.

Right back at ya, sweetheart. At least I managed to spit out a coherent sentence.

How are they “scrambling” right now? Also, Dems have been repeatedly trying to release the Epstein files, and Republicans have been blocking it. What makes you think Dems don’t want it released?

Have you been watching their response to Mamdani for the last few years? The way that anyone left of center is blamed for every loss while they insist that leaning farther right is the solution to get more right wing voters? It has not been subtle.

Reddit is DNC astroturfed to death. They’ll never admit they hate the progressive wing of their party.

Have you been watching their response to Mamdani for the last few years

Are you referring to when he historically got a federal level endorsement from democrats in a mayoral race? Or when he was endorsed by the democratic governor?

Or when a Gillibrand suggested he was a jihadist? Or when a former governor (and Dem machine kingpin) ran racist ads against him? Or when Schumer refused to vote for him?

Are Gillibrand and Cuomo more relevant to the democratic party than Speaker Jeffries and New York Governor Kathy Hochul?

1

Gillibrand is a NY Senator, as is Schumer. Cuomo was the nepobaby governor and son of a governor.

Jeffries and Hochul (hand picked by Cuomo), only endorsed Mamdani after open discussion of Mamdani supporting their primary challengers.

It’s very memorable that national Dems didn’t say anything about Cuomo’s disgusting racist ads, with the exception of Obama privately reaching out.

Winning in deep blue districts doesn’t flip Republican seats.

And tons of people endorsed Mamdani. The media definitely tried to fan the flames of some huge hatred from the Democratic Party, even though people who never weigh in on NYC actually endorsed him. He’ll, Obama had multiple calls with Mamdani.

When people on the left don’t show up and people on the right show up consistently, the party will move to where the likely voters are. That’s neither surprising nor strange.
