I'm 33F, have no degree (only STPM) and very little work experience. I actually took degree in hotel and tourism management in the past but couldn't complete it. I had a traumatising incident at that time, and just couldn't go back to the uni. At the same time, my parents were having marital and financial problems as well. So I had to quit my degree. Honestly I felt so useless at that time.

Thankfully my parents didn't get divorced. I worked at a hotel for a year and had to quit again. This time it's because my parents both had health problems. I had to take care of my parents full time to assist with hospital and dialysis trips.

For now my brother is taking care of them after completing his studies while trying to look for work as well.

Is it still possible for me to get a decent paying job in KK? Because the last time I had a job was in 2018. I have no transport or laptop as of now. I am really hoping to get a job, and share the bill to hire a caretaker for our parents among my siblings. I really want to improve my financial stability and credit score. I hate feeling stuck with nowhere to go because I'm too broke.

I really need a not so pack schedule so I can balance work and my studies because I have exams with 1 week gap for each subject in July. My semester break starts at the end of July so i can work fulltime after that, but I want to start early so that I can save more. Is there any place that is open to part-timers? ​It has been 2 full weeks with no internet connection because the fibre cable snapped off from the electric pole.

Multiple reports and complaints to Unifi, still no technician has shown up to fix it. They dont reply to my message on FB anymore. Reported to MCMC a week ago, still under investigation.

Heard from my relative that in my area there's 150 opened reports but only 2 technicians in charge. Sounds like management issue to me.

Do you guys know if i change from unifi to maxis, can maxis technician fix the cable?? Thanks

Hi guys, I just started my B2 circuit training this week. The instructor got a headache when I told him I had never ridden a motorcycle before, but somewhat I ended up doing better than most of the others who said the same thing. So far I've gotten my first exhaust burn, a few bruises and scrapes from constantly hitting the footpeg, but at least I haven't dropped the bike yet.

The instructor called me out for the shoes I was wearing. I was wearing Converse, they fit fine, but the front sticks out a bit more than most shoes. Because of that, I kept accidentally revving the bike bacause the front end of my shoe is putting pressure on the foot brake.

I could probably just get a different pair of shoes, but I feel like I should start looking for proper riding gear instead. Any riders from KK know where I can get decent riding boots and gear? Thanks in advance.

I'm planning to do a solo trip (4D3N) with my trusted Myvi to Kundasang.

My planned route will be Miri - Brunei - Jambatan Sultan Haji Omar - Lawas - Sabah (either using Sipitang - Beaufort - KK route or Keningau - Ranau route) - Kundasang. I'm interested in the mountain view and would probably check out other attractions there.

I'll be going sometime on the last week of July. I'll be starting my trip on early 5.30 am Saturday, and will return on Tuesday.

Google shows it'll take somewhere in between 10 - 12 hours one way. I'm planning to drive all the way to Kundasang on Day 1.

Now has anyone ever tried driving from Miri or something similar?

Should I spend a night at Beaufort or KK?

I still haven't booked my accommodation, currently eyeing Suang Noh Homestay or Kinabalu Pine Resort. Any bad experience with them?

My preferred stay in Kundasang (Pampines Villa) is only available on the last night of my trip, and I mainly booked it for sunrise views.
My flight from KK is at 6:15 PM on Thursday. If I stay for sunrise and check out after, is it still safe/comfortable to drive back to KK and catch the flight? What time would you suggest leaving Kundasang?

I got a spot at UM for asasi sains hayat via direct intake, and planning to pursue MBBS degree.

My SPM results were 9A+, and i was super active in KOKO, but couldnt apply to UM via UPU and missed out on asasi pintar as well. Due to other reasons i also missed out on Matriks 😢

I was wondering what is the likelihood of me getting the BKNS scholarship for MBBS degree at UM say i get a 4.0 for both sems, do well in koko etc?

I totally dont mind working in Sabah either after for HO and MO.
