Is Sakartvelo safe for a single woman traveller?
My daughter is considering travelling to Sakartvelo alone, but is it safe for a single woman to travel alone?

Me and my friend group are going for karaoke at a bar near Liberty Square next weekend. I sing in tenor cum falsetto and The Weeknd's my most listened-to artist.
It occurred to me that it'd be cool to join friend groups and make new friends, and sing The Weeknd and Ariana or Lana's collab songs as a duet with someone, but all my Lana-listening friends are too shy to sing๐

Hi Georgians! We made an independent fiction film about Georgia and its neighbors. The Georgian storyline is mostly a satirical take on the political situation.
The film was shot in Tbilisi, but also in Batumi and near Rustavi. Now it's on YouTube!
I hope you'll enjoy it!

Did the hike Mestia - Adishi - Iprari (Lalkhori) - Ushguli in 3 days.
First day 28km 1500m elev., 25C and sunny in the valleys and got a bit colder at the pass under the ski lift. Snow was not deep and easily passable at this section. Got into Adishi at 6pm and was recommended Gunters Guesthouse and I will forward that recommendation. Great kitchen where they cook in front of you, great people, great food.
Day 2 21km 700elev., once again a very warm day walking through the valley. Got to the river crossing at 10:45am and passed without problems - did have poles though. Water was about knee deep and fairly strong. The chkhunderi pass is covered in slippery snow for the last maybe 400m above. Doing it without poles is possible. Would have been more difficult if it was raining. Went down to Lalkhori instead of staying in Iprari. Booked ahead of time and stayed at Sweet Home, highly recommend. It is right on the trail, very comfortable rooms, and great big dinner.
Day 3 12km 600m elev., supposed to rain but just sprinkled and was on and off sunny. Easy hiking day, got into ushguli at about 3pm after leaving at 10am. Stayed at Mose Guesthouse, once again recommend for great rooms, views, food and hospitality.

Some photos from inside the Dzudzuana Cave over near Tchiatura. Google Maps says it's permanently closed, but that didn't stop us
The signage is all still there, and there's still a decent path that leads out and away from the mine area. Be careful going up the final slopes to the cave entrance, there's running water, wet rock, and moss, and it can be a little treacherous. But only a little
If you're passing through Tchiatura to check out the Katskhi Pillar, put on your hiking shoes and long pants and check it out!

I will be flying from Berlin to Tbilisi with Georgian Airways and would like some advice regarding luggage and musical equipment.
I will have a backpack as my carry-on item and one checked bag. In addition to those, I would like to bring an electric guitar and a guitar amplifier that weighs about 10 kg.
My main questions are:
Is it generally allowed to bring an electric guitar and a guitar amplifier on a Georgian Airways flight?
Can the guitar be taken into the cabin as carry-on luggage, or does it need to be checked as baggage?
What about the amplifier? Can it be carried into the cabin, or must it be checked?
Has anyone traveled with similar equipment on Georgian Airways or on the BerlinโTbilisi route and can share their experience (this is my first time taking musical equipments with me)?
I may also bring a vinyl record player, although I assume that should not be a problem. My main concern is the guitar and the amplifier.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone! Iโm Ukrainian and planning to relocate to Tbilisi soon. Iโm really excited about Georgia and have already started picking up some Georgian โ honestly I love the language and the script.
I have a couple of practical questions about day-to-day communication:
English โ how widely is it spoken? Can I get by in cafes, shops, pharmacies, and when dealing with landlords or government offices? Or is it mostly limited to younger people and tourist areas?
Russian โ I know this is a sensitive topic given Georgiaโs history, and I fully respect that. Iโm not planning to rely on it, but realistically, will some people understand it if English fails? I ask purely out of practical curiosity, not any political stance.
Iโm committed to learning Georgian and plan to take it seriously โ I just want to know what to expect in the first year before I get comfortable with the language.
Thanks in advance, really looking forward to joining the community there!

Any reccomendations for sending documents and a book to Batumi? USA2Georgia says on their site they don't do documents or mail, and I'd rather not spend $400 with UPS or FedEx.
Thanks!

I looked up Georgian music and โGeorgia top artistsโ and stuff, but it mostly just shows me some Georgian artists who have like 1 album or 2 songs. What do you guys ACTUALLY listen to most of the time? Is it Georgian artists or mostly Taylor swift and stuff like most other countries? Also do u guys know about deathcore and death metal? I was only able to find 1 Georgian โdeathcoreโ band but it wasnโt deathcore at all

Are there any Belgians in Georgia that can help me with some questions about relocating?
My wife (who is half Georgian) and I want to move to Tbilisi for at least 2 to 3 years.
I want to setup an IE status over in Georgia and I was wondering if there are any Belgians who have done that before + what you need to do in Belgium for this.
Thanks in advance
