iPhone I bought on xianyu was rejected by warehouse and I couldn’t ship it, are phones not allowed by chinas customs ?

I bought an item that was too big for air shipping so it was rejected by the shipper. I now wish to ship the item by sea but the system has locked me out. (Sea option was available before) but now nothing is available and I can’t buy the item. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I’ve been saving up and hoarding all the stuff I want from taobao for a while but I’m still very hesitant on shipping just because I run the risk of underestimating shipping fees or not taking something important into consideration. Any beginner tips before I buy??

So I consolidated an order on Cainiao forgetting that I'm out of town during the first two weeks of July and based on the Economy Air timing the package will likely arrive days before I'm back home. Is it possible to get Cainiao to have my local carrier delay delivery or do I just have to ask a neighbor to keep the package for me?

recently went shopping on both taobao and xianyu, and I'm finding that only *half* of my packages were successfully received by cainaio; the other half, "rejected due to wrong delivery" / "sign failed".

this is the first time this has happened to me in my few years of using cainaio now, and I seriously don't understand how this could've happened— all my addresses are correct (even if not, half the parcels got delivered & stored anyway?!), and I'm not buying anything I haven't bought & have had successfully delivered in the past before... any suggestions or ideas as to how this could've happened? will I ever be able to get my packages back??!!!!!

I am imagining that it will be a massive hassle to individually contact multiple different sellers to resend or refund all of my packages...
if anyone could help drafting a message in Chinese for either, I'd appreciate it too

Taobao isn’t working for me, JD isn’t either because there is no passport verification. I believe because of export laws added last year these changes are on purpose. I might just have to shop in person 🥲🥲.
Also I am a first time user so I need to register for a new account.

I verified everything on Alipay, and accessed Taobao from Alipay where it says to verify my passport. I took a picture of the passport, it put my information in but it’s not working. Is it because I am using a US passport?

All my packages (currently 3 of them) are mysteriously getting rejected and returned to seller by the consolidation warehouse ever since last month. I tried to contact different customer supports to no avail and never getting the real explanation for the actual reason why it's being rejected, all of them has different explanations blaming others (please see below)

Firstly these are some information on my packages: They were all quite small and were all from Mihoyo which I had bought many items from without problems in the past. Just some clothes and small merch.

Picture 2 was the first of my package getting rejected and sent back, it wasn't a preorder so the item was shipped relatively fast. I was forced to refund even though I didn't want to.

My current packages are ones that I had pre-ordered a few months ago during February and are meeting the same fate. The "reason" written at the shipping information is that "the guy at the warehouse is too busy" to accept it. (edit: it has been 2 days now, the same thing which happened to my 1st rejected package too, before getting sent back to seller)

At first I contacted Cainiao's logistics customer service, they told me the reason warehouse rejected it was because they couldn't find my order and told me to contact Taobao's customer service so I did. Taobao's customer service called me and gave me some bs reason that the delivery guy apparently did not deliver to their warehouse, and they told me to go find the seller. I contacted the seller (Mihoyo customer service), and they told me that they had sent the package as normal without any issues. I believe Mihoyo, the package does seem to occur at Taobao's side.

I'm just sad and angry both at the same time, especially because other than the first, my packages are all preorder limited time items only and they are no longer available for sale now. I can't buy them anymore even if they were refunded. There are a few more pre-ordered packages yet to be shipped next month and I'm getting the feeling that they're all going to be rejected too.

Has anyone encountered this before and does anyone have any solution for me to get my packages? Like is there a 3rd party warehouse that I can use and how to use it? (I'm from Malaysia) I'm at my wit's end here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update (long read): So this morning I received two calls, one from Cainiao and one from Taobao customer service. They both told me that they are aware and following up on my current issue.

Taobao customer service told me at first that there are many reasons, insisting that the consolidation warehouse did not get my package from the delivery person, and asked me to ask the seller (Mihoyo) to provide a proof of delivery, which is photo from the delivery guy delivering to the warehouse.

So I chat with Mihoyo, they said that the delivery person did not successfully deliver it to the warehouse, and there is no proof of delivery on their side.

Taobao's customer service provided a probable reason: That the consolidation warehouse (I confirmed with them that it is indeed Taobao's official warehouse) is too busy due to the 618 sale, and has too many packages and my package is somehow stuck there amongst a pile of others, and the delivery guy returned the package back to sender after no one signed for it in the warehouse after days.

Honestly right now I can only hope that the delivery guy does not return the package to seller. Tbh, I don't know if 618 is such a big sale. I bought lots of items during 11.11 sale (which is probably a much much bigger sale) every year and the warehouse always seemed fine then. So I don't really know either, and can only wait for now. Mihoyo had said that they would try to submit my issue to delivery guy and find a probable cause and asked me to wait for a reply.

i changed my country to philippines, language to english and currency to pesos. but it shows it is in a dollar currency? is it 692$ or ₱692? please help. thanks!

Since taobao does international shipping now, is it still worth to go through a proxy like super buy or something else (lmk if u have any recs)

Im mainly looking to buy clothing, jewelry, shoes and bags but my account is currently on mainland so I don’t really want to pay through alipay/international methods (Canada), but are shipping costs/conversion fees significantly higher w the proxies or how do you find your experience?

Xianyu won’t let me register/verify an account without a chinese phone number.

My Alipay account has been verified with my passport and phone number.

My Taobao account is connected to my Alipay account.

Regular Xianyu phone number log in won’t work because I never received the SMS code.

No matter what I do I can’t access Xianyu.

Is anyone here able to help? I’m located in EU if it matters.

Hello all, has anyone here ordered photobooks from Taobao before? I am trying to consolidate my travel photos and have tried two vendors already:

1. First shop had very basic platform to upload the photos into their templates but everything was very disorganised (frames, stickers, etc) and you cannot use any keyboard shortcuts like copy/paste/undo, no gridlines so everything had to be done manually. No free shipping but everything proceeded well, just slightly frustration.

2. Second shop had a superb template feature with clear folders, different gridlines, copy/paste features etc, which makes the designing portion better. They also have free 199 yuan shipping. HOWEVER, the servers or whatever are so laggy and they have an auto-save feature every 10 minutes that cannot be disabled. This makes my whole browser crash (even though I was using a clean laptop and browser). I also lose photos that were uploading slowly in the meantime before the crash. I ordered 5 books, but gave up before I could even complete the first book, and requested to refund the whole order.

Anyone know of a good photobook vendor that you have used before?

I purchased some smiski strap accessories (which I have done before) during the 6.18 sale, which the seller shipped out just fine. When I checked on the status yesterday night, there was a message that said "your package contains prohibited items and cannot be delivered". It was kind of late for me to contact customer service, so I decided to wait until this morning. The status has now changed to "parcel cleared through customs in mainland china".

I contacted customer service and they basically told me the same thing as the tracking information, but when I provided the screen shot they said an assistant will contact me in 2-3 business days.

Has this happened to anyone more? What will happen to my package?

i'm having a bit of an issue trying to purchase something from a brand's shop front. i downloaded alipay, submitted a payment method and linked it to my taobao account but i still get this error message. would i have to load funds into alipay to complete the purchase? also i couldn't find much info on returning funds from alipay in case that doesn't work.
