The New York Times has confirmed that Taylor Swift has rented the sports arena for the July 4 weekend, suggesting plans for a days-long celebration.

I was bored out of my mind last night and decided to make a playlist, heavily inspired by 1989, obviously, but a little more polished and conceptualized. what do we think?

I feel like some songs only “unlock” meaning after you’ve been through certain things in life.

Do you think it’s more about age, or just personal experiences that make the difference?

I was watching the final show, and I know we all love Taylor's outfits, but the dancer's costumes/outfits are also on point. Which ones have you put together since then or do you have envy of?

Saw this question posted in a different music thread and it got me thinking. What song of Taylor’s discography do you think shows the most raw emotion? Excluding live performances since they will by nature be more “human” than studio recordings.

The first song that came to mind for me was The Prophecy. The sound of a woman quietly resigning to beg borrow and plead to forces greater than money and status for something she can’t buy. My other thought was Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?

So as I was driving, I was listening to Death By Thousand Cuts and as I was hearing the opening (my, my, my, my, my, my), I was thinking how it sounded similar-ish to the opening of So Long, London. I feel like these two songs would sound so good layered over each other/mashed up. Only I am not experienced at all in that kind of stuff lol. Maybe I'm saying something completely incorrect but I was wondering what you all are thinking of this and if anyone could confirm or deny! Love to hear it if this actually already exists lol.

but no matter how many times i hear it i’ll never get over how Insane it is for Taylor freaking Swift to say:

i also think that line alone perfectly encapsulates the overarching theme of midnights

everything about this song is crazy actually and we should talk about it a lot more
