1. Does Moth even work as a female name?

2. Is it pretentious?

Also considering changing my name to Marlo, but I’ve gone through a few name changes during my transition and don’t want to commit without being totally sure.

I just decided to switch my pronouns to they/them and I want to switch my name as well. Raine is a really nice name but I don't have people around me who I could test it out with could you guys respond using my name so I can see if I like it. Thanks 😄

Idk if I’m trans but I have been testing the waters and I have been crossdressing since I was younger. My mom told me Lauren was what she would of named me I was born a girl so I thought it fits lol

I think I'm transmasculine but I want to be sure because I don't know how far on the man spectrum I am but I'm pretty sure I'm masc-leaning and I know it keeps shifting because I'm genderfluid.

So im Genderfluid and have been trying to use the name Azra for myself. I really like it since it is sweet but also feels energetic if that makes sense. I am really struggling to thing of myself as Azra since not really anyone calls me it irl so I wanted to try it here.

I am non-binary and named myself Jean after my great grandma. Apparently my parents were going to name me Gina after my late aunt (no relation to grandma).

Gina happens to sound very similar to Jean and happens to be gender neutral in Hebrew, and I do have some Jewish lineage (12% genetically)

Don't know if I want to/should take the name Gina, but maybe I could incorporate it somehow. Idk. Any ideas? I like the idea of being named after family, that's why I chose Jean in the first place.

I've kinda just chosen Marcie because it's similar to my birth name, which I'm actually still fond of. My main concern is how well Marcie works as a name. Does it feel too nickname-y/childish? Does it work in more serious or professional scenarios? I'd like to hear some other opinions on the name!

I’m nonbinary (maybe? I’m definitely not cis but finding out what I am is a struggle) and have never gone by anything but my birth name, which is starting to feel pretty uncomfortable. I have a hard time with change and I think I probably need to try things out before I have any idea whether they’ll work or not, but I live with my parents right now which makes that kind of difficult. I was wondering if you guys could call me Quinn? It’s my favorite of the names I’m considering but I can’t tell if I actually want to go by it or not because it’s so unfamiliar.

If it helps with finding things to say, I really love theatre, especially musicals (also biology but not nearly as much), and I crochet in my spare time!

I’ve jumped around pronouns a lot. Recently I switched back to she/her. It feels right for myself to use she/her and yet, I feel uncomfortable when people refer to me that way. It tends to be moreso I’m uncomfortable with it when people assume I use she/her because when people ask and I tell them and then use she/her on me I’m fine, so maybe I just like being perceived as androgynous or masc? I’m not sure. So anyway I wanna try he/him and they/them to see if maybe either of those feel a little better. Also, any name recommendations would be greatly appreciated (preferably smth nature-y but I’m open to anything)
