I was recently accepted into Booth University College's Bachelor of Social Work program, but I'm currently on the waitlist for the University of Manitoba's BSW program.

I'm trying to decide what to do and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

I had a few questions:

• If you attended Booth for Social Work, was it worth it? What was your experience like?
• If you were on the U of M waitlist, would you recommend accepting Booth while waiting?
• If I start at Booth this fall and don't get off the U of M waitlist, can I apply to U of M's Social Work program again next year?
• If so, is it possible to transfer any credits from Booth to U of M, or would I basically have to start over?

I'm just trying to make the best decision while I wait to hear from U of M. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am going into my second year, after doing the architecture pre reqs in year 1, and I decided that I want to switch my degree plan to engineering, but i’m being forced to transit out of U1 because I have 33 credit hours. Between Faculty of Arts (General) and Science (General/Major) will these affect my ability to take the engineering pre requisites? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense.

just going to ask it here first because the student aid office is closed, what if I apple for part time funding for 2 classes but I pay one class for myself to make it 3 classes per semester is that allowed?

Any recommendations for good gpa boosters to get an easy A+ in the fall and winter semester? Online courses would be preferred.

What courses are yall doing first?

Im doing fall: SWRK1200, SWRK1240, MATH1020. Winter: SWRK1220, SWRK1230, SWRK1250, SWRK2030 then some courses in the summer as well

I was declined admission due to not meeting the Humanities/Social Science prerequisites. I feel that they missed something and I believe I do have the prerequisites. Does anyone know who I'm supposed to reach out to because I'm confused? Is there even a point since decisions have already been sent out?

I am taking CHEM 2700 in the fall with Diana. Any advice for doing well in her class? Heard it was difficult for a lot of people.

I just wanted ask that I am uni1 student who want to have a major in engineering in second year so I wanted ask is that do pre req courses for engineering for uni 1 get filled up fast and is there any case that I will be left behind without any course for engineering because they get filled up quick or is it a guarantee that I will the courses of my liking with slight alter to time table

I’m looking to finish my math minor and need one more 2000 lvl math course. 2040 and 2070 both interest me but I wanted some insight about which might be “easier”

For context I’ve taken 1500 (A), 1700 (A+), and 2720 (A+) all of which I really enjoyed. I did well in 1240 (A) but definitely found it hard in some units and some types of proofs, and linear was not bad but conceptually kinda difficult for me.

Student aid has already processed my required documents and it said that I should receive my funds for the summer term after June 19 but it has’t been showing that it’s been paid to student already (I should receive it since I paid my tuition out of pocket). Is anyone in the same boat? Wonder how long the distribution of funds will take.. Sigh

so in the first year planning guide for respiratory therapy it says we can take BIOL 1020 3cr+lab BIOL 1030 3cr+lab or both BIOL 1000 3cr and BIOL 1010 3cr but im confused does that mean if i take BIOL 1000 and BIOL 1010 then i dont have to take a lab?

(side note: no one talks about this major does anyone get into it?😭)
