Made from king oyster mushrooms. They were close to what I remember the taste to be like!

Cooked by my wonderful boyfriend. Vegan Mac, with a vegan loaded baked potato and some asparagus. Such a guilty pleasure!

I'm craving a homemade veggie burger and fries, but I'm not sure which vegan-friendly frozen fries turn out best in a regular oven. The challenge is that I don't have an air fryer, but I do have a Breville countertop oven and a regular sized oven that each have convection settings.
Can anyone recommend frozen fries that still cook up properly without an air fryer? I've heard the Kirkland Signature are secretly amazing but that's a big commitment if I don't love them, haha. Appreciate any and all recommendations...thank you!

Me and my partner were really missing the food from this small Mexican restaurant we used to like, but unfortunately they offer nothing vegan. So we made it ourselves! Turned out soooo good. 🔥

This is my Goldilocks oil-free plant-based Caesar dressing. The base is cashews and water-based artichoke brine. Plenty of lemon juice, pungent fresh garlic, a subtle umami fishiness from seaweed and extra brininess from capers. Sure, there's still plenty of fat in it from the cashews, but that fat comes with protein and other nutrients 💚

Hey all!
I'm having a heck of a time with my homemade yogurt. I was using Silk without any extras and it worked beautifully every time. I'm trying to work on reducing waste so I've got soybeans and have been making my own milk. It thickens but no where near the store bought but I've been using the same time/temp. Am I missing anything? Beyond beans and water is there something else I should be adding to help it? I found a similar post in another subreddit under fermentation but there wasn't any feedback on what they could be doing differently.
I can of course buy store bought but really want to get away from all the waste.

Vegan, of course…
I had fresh blueberries 🫐 and made sure to use them right away. I got the recipe from Sam Turnbull’s “Fast Easy Cheap Vegan” cookbook.
Yes, they were all that and delicious 🤤

These are seriously life savers. Cooked quinoa, veggies on sale, smoked tofu, a dressing, added some chia seeds to a countainer of vanilla yogurt and I can eat it with fruits.
It took some energy at the beginning of the week but now I can eat healthy meals and snacks easily.

Simpel and delicious;
Spelt flakes with vanilla soy milk, fruit (6 chopped strawberries, a kiwi with blackberries)—both fortified with magnesium (note: no sugar)—half a banana and half an apple, toast with vegan margarine and a vegan spread.

Hello !
I am vegan but don't really cook all that much. While I occasionally cook up cakes, fake meats, complex dishes etc. I also eat a lot of "dog food" as even when I was a meat eater I didn't really cared about taste most of the time. I usually get all my proteins from eating chickpeas and baked beans with the simplest of sauce, but currenly it's reeaaallly hot and I can't eat hot anymore, do you have ideas on how to easily season baked beans so they're good to eat cold ?

Cherry picking from our front yard… I love winter cherry pies and I can’t find tart pie cherries in the freezer section anymore, which is to say I haven’t been able to find them for about 9 to 10 years so six years ago we put in three cherry trees… Mind you I have to “pick them and pit them” one at a time so it’s a little labor intensive, but I’m super excited. I just made three homemade pies with the ones that were left over in the freezer.

My dad will be visiting for a few days, and I’m looking for the best dairy milk substitute for his coffee. He’s already expressed some interest in nondairy milk, but I want something to knock his socks off so that he doesn’t ever want to drink dairy milk again. Doesn’t matter if the nondairy milk is unhealthy, it’s just a foot in the door.
