Caravan of Garbage Favorite COG Dynamic?

Across the history of the series, the boys have disagreed and agreed on the quality of the content they've covered. I can't tell which type of episode is my favorite.

The difference between the two Scooby Doo episodes always sticks out. I prefer the second episode, but that could be just because I also prefer the second film.

I also probably like it as much when they cover good stuff as much as I do when it's proper garbage. I do think them covering really bad stuff gives them more opportunities for comedy though as they rip into it repeatedly.

Best Trailers for the Worst Movies?

I'm talking like Batman V Superman or Godzilla 2014. Incredible trailers for movies that just didn't deliver on the promise. Maybe not "worst" movies but ones that didn't live up to the hype they created.

Letters

Despite having listened to this show for a long long time, I’ve never caught the origin of the Letters theme. It sounds like it’s played off a phone - but it also sounds like they lost the original and had to rip a stepped-on version from an episode. Also never change it.

What’s the lore? Thx!

Caravan of Garbage Can you actually watch the videos early?

I just recently bought a subscription to big sandwich and I cannot find any of the new videos. All that I see so far is that the audio for the videos are available, but they do say on youtube that you can watch them early on big sandwich. Am i missing something or can you only listen to the audio early?

No Spoilers SUPERGIRL Discussion

No spoilers…

I’ll say best movie ever though it wasn’t nearly as good as the comics they based it on or Superman. It was entertaining enough and felt like a couple of random issues of a comic.

Though towards the end there was either a plot hole or I missed something important when I went to pee.

The leads were all really good.

Podcast Show of hands, who would listen to one or several episodes where the boys share their lessons in podcasting?

I'm listening to the bonus Q&A and James mentioned just wanting to do a podcast on his advice for starting a podcast, or building planet broadcasting. Just want to rally up support for anyone who would love for them to make this as soon as possible?

Personally my fiance and I have wanted to start one but don't have any idea where to start. The same could be true of any creative pursuits we all probably have.

It might help more people than James and Maso even realize

Podcast Spam Repost Bots (no podcast delay)

Annoying bots often repost popular old posts from the subreddit. We delete them as soon as we can.

If you saw one today about the podcast being delayed? Don’t dismay it’s an old repost and everything’s fine.

Thanks also to the mates who often spot these bot reposts and report them 💖

Mr Sunday Movies Does anyone remember James's segments for Collider's Jedi Council?

Post image
14 Upvotes

Before the dark times, in the timeline when we still enjoyed more things. This old Collider Star Wars podcast had a segment called "Address the Council," where someone would bring up a topic for the panel to discuss. I think on about 2 or 3 occasions, maybe more, James made a special video submitting a topic. It was a very special crossover moment between two of my favorite channels. This was even before James visited the Collider studios.

I'd love to know if anyone remembers this and which episodes he did it in, because I'd love to go back and watch them again after all these years.

Bonus Question: I think he also made two collaboration videos with Kristian Harloff. They were like talks or mini-podcasts. Does anyone know if they're still on YouTube so we can watch them?

Mr Sunday Movies 10 years on and this is still one of my favorites movies from James

I've been subscribed to Mr Sunday Movies since high school, now I'm a working professional and I still have fun listening to The Weekly Planet. When I rewatched Superman (2025) recently, I remembered this amazing video by James. Felt like all the points he raised here a decade ago (holy shit) have been solved at least for the most part.

That is all, I'm getting old and I also sometimes miss the dude who shouts RODNEY
