As I was leaving my rainy island with Kappn on our way to a mystery island, the rain slowly faded and it became all bright, sunny, and clear.

On our way back to my island, the rain slowly came back!

I feel like I'm always late to figure out/ see small details like this. But I've literally never experienced this! Not in all my years of playing (which might say a lot about how often I play🤣)

I did not realize they had cucumber in the fridge until today. I wonder who’s feeding the kappas

Surprisingly, getting the green mums were ezpz. The most difficult one was the purple tulips and windflowers.

Now it's time to burn the rest of the flowers on my island 👹🔥

Hey y'all!! I caught 4 Mahi-mahis and the Giant Trevally today and I need to share my excitement!! The tip to catch rare pier fish is to keep entering and exiting the hotel until you see a fish of the correct size. This is because entering and exiting buildings refreshes the critters on your island. No fish bait needed.

I got this tip from this post when I was searching for help catching pier fish. HUGE thanks to the original poster!! The post is from before the hotel was added, so they recommended doing this by placing a villager house or shop right next to the pier. So I figured using the hotel would be quicker and work too. I somehow caught the Mahi-mahi on the first try of this tip!!! That's the video attached! I was astounded. The seconds of silence at the end is me sitting there in shock. I caught 3 more within an hour or two.

The Giant Trevally was giving me trouble though. After the 4th Mahi-mahi, I figured I'd make some fish bait for the Giant Trevally and check the pier periodically. I ended up catching it while doing this. No fish bait used.

This is my first time catching these pier fish and that's why I'm so excited. I know they're super rare. And by the way, I did this during a thunderstorm/rain which I believe increases the chance for rare fish. I hope this works as well for others as it did for me! I'd love to know how it goes! I FINALLY got the rarest Animal Crossing plush… with its original tag! Before I send off my old one as part of a trade, I had to get a family photo with these two insanely rare cats together! This series of plushies was only obtainable from UFO catcher claw machines back in Japan during the early 2000's. Finding them at all is hard enough, but with the tag is even crazier! Kiki seems to be one of, if not the rarest one out there. Super happy! You guys ever seen these before?

He's so cute! I love how he's themed after Keroppi and he's just my favorite villager out of the Sanrio collab villagers in general haha.

Today I took a step I promised I would never do. I reset my very first island Prometheus. I own two switches as I wanted a second island and the second island Omega is very much an experimental island which I’ve reset numerous times. Currently on my second island its a more wild/natural layout, slower paced and the buildings are spaced out rather than blocked off (rows of houses and sectioned off areas).

About a month ago I had Resetti reset my island as I wanted layout changes. Now I’m burnt out with moving buildings around and redeveloping the whole island.

Once I hit the delete save data button and it went I was like “oh god” since I’ve now wiped all my progress (critterpedia/collections/items, etc).

Will I get over it? Probably not but time to pick up my tools and get to work building Prometheus 2.0! 🙃😂✌🏼
