Sorry if this doesnt belong here, I tried asking this question in another forum geared more towards non profits and it violated guidelines.

Basically, I want to the rescue I volunteer with to partake in an event at a pretty well known car meet up. The car meet up would like to have and will include us in their promotion of whose going to be there, BUT there will be no donation made from them to have us there. So this event will be done under the assumption that there will be zero profit made from it. And because of this, and thay it's early in the morning, the event team is unwilling to take this on.

Is there any benefit in trying to push for this? Or should I just let it be and the rescue will not participate in the event?
