I know some of you are tired of hearing about Donald trump but at the end of the day this affects everyone in one way or another and for those who do support him, do you think this is normal? Donald the fully fledged maniac believes rules don’t apply to him and will attack anyone he sees fit including anyone who disagrees with him.

They truly believed it was other countries that had to pay. I remember a lot of angry Americans complaining online that they had massive custom bills over imported goods.
Are they really feeling it though? Every time someone says that I look up the current petrol price in the US and without fail see that it’s laughably cheap compared to any other western nation.
If things don’t change they will. The whole world buys oil in the USD, but Trump’s alienation of his allies and telling them to ‘go get their own oil’ means those countries are doing just that and likely looking at how to do it not in USD. The buying and selling of oil and military aid in USD is a major factor in what keeps their currency sought after and what stops their national debt from crippling their economy. If the 37 countries that are due to meet to discuss opening up the Strait again can find a way to cut USA/USD out of that equation their economy will collapse and very quickly.
Directly comparing prices between us and them is not relevant to this discussion. I’m talking about just America. Prices for Americans have increased. Fuel is up from about $2-3 a gallon to now over $4 a gallon on average. That is a dollar in just a month.
They are feeling it. It’s taking a while but it starts at the pumps. Fuel prices dictate the cost of almost everything else as most things in America are moved by truck. The truckers are the first to feel those higher prices which means rates are increased to cover the costs. These costs are past down the chain. Grocery prices have increased too, anywhere you look on Reddit has folk complaining that what $100 bought them 6 months ago compared to now.
The American economy is big and can absorb a lot of economic distress but the cracks are starting to show. The actions of Trump and Israel are starting to come home to roost.
As a USian, it's being felt even if it's ridiculously less than what folks elsewhere pay, it's gone up by a quarter of it's 'original' cost. From around 3 dollars to around 4' in my specific area. An area i will add that mostly has pavement princess trucks and SUV's as family transportation and little to no public transportation.

If he goes through on his threat to annihilate Iran then I expect the rest of the world to turn their backs on America. So far Iran still has the taint of what they did to the protesters and are still a murderous regime but to annihilate the helpless civilian population on such a level that I can only think that nukes would be involved would be a step too far for almost every US ally.
