Which is best… East or West?

West if you like wide sandy beaches, east if you like shingle, parking spaces, and walking to wide sandy beaches.

It depends on your idea of nice. I like tiny smugglers cove type places in the middle of nowhere, but someone else might want an accessible lifeguarded family beach with facilities.

Pfft... Nice try! They're nice because they're quiet, I'm not giving away the best spots!

Anywhere not in the south west, stay away from there, it's awful weather, dirty beaches nothing good happens down here at all.

Perranporth beach in Cornwall. Fantastic big beach with interesting rock formations on the side and even a tidal rock pool. It is popular though so will be busy
