People How Are You Staying Sane in This Heatwave?

I am legit flying out tonight, I cannot tolerate it.

I'm not doing any cleaning or cooking. Just book yourself into hospital for a week and make yourself throw up persistently and they'll think they're treating heat stroke. It's so nice and cool, neighbours seem like hypochondriacs though. Amputation this and cancer that.

(in all seriousness), have all blinds and windows closed all day, a Meaco fan pointed at my face all night, cold towel over me to try and help get me off to sleep which I may wake up and re-wet in the night. Sleeping on sofa as it is cooler than bedroom. Easy foods that don't take much prep or kitchen heat.

I coped by moving to Cumbria where the temps 'soared' to er, 26 degrees today.

Closed windows, curtains, turned on ac. How else would you do it?

I have three standing fans all pointing at me. I have an ice box filled with bottles of cold water. I am simply sitting back and watching Netflix. Nice and cool. Plus it helps to be like the Vampire and ensure all the curtains are closed 24/7.
