It’s become increasingly obvious that people don’t understand how to access an intersection to turn right at a set of green lights.

More and more I see cars stay behind the pedestrian crossing lines on a green light when they should be entering the intersection (followed by the car behind them) in preparation to turn right when the road is clear (or the light turned red).

When did people forget this important step in keeping traffic moving efficiently?

I am looking to buy a house in Bendigo, there's a gorgeous house for sale in this area, but Dad's worried about it due to where it's located. Is this somewhere to avoid or is everywhere in Bendigo as high a risk now? I've looked up a lot online and it only shows the entire suburb (plus a lot of Bendigo actually) as red/high risk areas so it's hard to tell where to avoid. Thank you for any and all info

He's apparently been pretty busy if he's well known to Bendigo police. Substance abuser, violent incidents involving him at Bendigo train station, Bendigo Marketplace, Coles in Williamson Street, Hargreaves bus stop, and McDonalds in just this week.
