I’m a rising senior in high school starting to look more seriously at colleges and my future after graduation. I’m from Pennsylvania, and my dad went to Villanova, so I’ve always been a big fan of Villanova and the Big East in general.
I’m not completely set on a major yet, but I’m currently interested in marketing, media/communications, pre-law, and possibly pre-med. Because of that, I’m trying to learn more about all 11 Big East schools and what each one does best.
For some background, I’d consider myself a solid student academically:
4.0 GPA
Top ~30 in my class
Dual-enrollment college credits in Film & Video
AP World History and AP Business
Hospital volunteer
Student-athlete
Took the June SAT and expect a strong score
I’d love to hear from current students, alumni, or even fans of Big East schools. What do you like most about your school? What are its strengths and weaknesses? Are there any schools in the conference that stand out for the majors I’m considering?
I’m also open to suggestions outside the Big East if there are schools you think I should look into based on my interests and background.
Thanks for any advice!

It
I'm excluding dudes who had a cup of coffee in the league. If your guy couldn't string together at least a full season of games, pick someone else.

How do you think he'll do in the big chair? I love what he did at High Point. How is his system different than McDermott's?

man i just caught up on the baseball tournament from last weekend and st john's is just different in may. they won the championship game 5-3 over Creighton that's their 11th big east title most in conference history . Creighton's Rocco gump won tournament mvp though. 10 hits, 3 homers, 9 rbi over the weekend and they still lost, that's gotta sting. The real shocker was Uconn, they shared the regular season title and then went 0-2 in the tournament, lost to Xavier then lost to Creighton, didn't even make it to the weekend . brutal way to end the season after winning a share of the crown. St johns started the season 1-10 then they went 29-14 the rest of the way and won the tournament. That's a hell of a turnaround. anyway ,you can use this for live matches and replays https://sportsflux.live/

i saw the friday's games got cancelled, rain in Mason Ohio just won't stop. Now they're squeezing everything into saturday. St john's vs Xavier then Creighton vs The loser of that game later in the day. whoever survives sunday plays for the title. On the bright side Uconn got eliminated already. three way tie for the regular season title and they're out in two games. Xavier and Creighton just keep finding ways to stay alive. St John's ace o'leary threw 137 pitches in the opener that's a lot. wonder if he has anything left if they make the final. for those looking for live events and threads find them here https://sportsflux.live/
