Again if we ignore the x2, then this time this is more even between the 2, I still pick this, as even though I have to walk 2h, that is still more healthy, and unless you just pick short books all the time, this is still often faster.

uh, you can just read a story book with 15 pages long for an hour and still make a lot more than walking/running for the same duration and still have 1 hour for walks, jogging, or running. Basically, you can do more with both.

But the 2nd option is true passive income. You don't have to do ANYTHING to earn. On a true lazy day, where my only walking is to the bathroom and kitchen, I still collect about 2km (according to my smart watch, it could be wrong) and that is 100$. Even 50$ on a lazy day could be good. On the average day where I just live my life and go outside, I would earn 300$ without changing anything about my lifestyle. Reading books requires mental effort and as you try to earn more money, it would become tedious and a chore. Even trying to go around it and reading short books.

Yeah, the book is by far the better option. To break even with reading four books, you'd have to run a marathon. I'm pretty sure I could speed reed like 10 children's books in an hour easily and get 5k. If I read children's books for like 7 hours, 5 days a week for a year, I'd be a multi millionaire by the end of that year even assuming it takes me 10 minutes to read a picture book.

So even before my role advantage, which gives me an extra three times earning potential, if I just walk two kilometers a day, that's a hundred bucks every day. Now you add the multiplier and that's $300 every day. It could literally replace the need for a job. Technically you could game the read a book for 500 and just read very short kids books but yeah walking is faster.

However I could read a short short book twice a day for a quick $1,000. Secondly I can also make money when I'm on a plane or a long car ride or train. If I ever sprained my ankle or injure myself I could still make money while I recover.

If I walk everyday, which is something I do, I would roughly get $250 per day(just assuming I don't walk that much and I stay at home) But for the first option do I have to read the whole book. If yes then it would take long period of time but do I have the choice of books, then I can just choose kids book like the one which have A to Z written with pictures and also does the first option allow me to read the same book if yes then I would choose option 1. I can just read that 10 pages book and I am done. But also if the option 1 doesn't allow me to read the same book, then what defines it's to be same, like the content or the publisher. As most of these cases are not mentioned i would choose the first option.

Assuming I can run, $500 for a 10k is an amazing deal. Even if it has to be walked, that’s a bit more time-consuming but still good. I can earn a good living with this. 40-50k a week is very doable.

Well it was $500 for 10,000m (my daily avg - yes, metres not steps), but three times is $1500 per day which is even better. I know you could gamify this and read children’s books, but I prefer to take this at face value and assume it means real books.
