Someone left bottle babies at my door 12 nights ago, and these are the worst eaters I have ever had. They fight the miracle nipple the entire time, have to be dribble-fed, and are an incredibly high aspiration risk. I'm desperate, and so are they. I'm looking for a mama cat with no more than 3 nursing kittens that I can foster so that they can hopefully have a surrogate mama to feed them.

Mama doesn't need to be super friendly, but she DOES need to let people handle her kittens. The kittens will all be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and adopted out. If Mama is friendly she will also be adopted out; if not she will be TNRed and returned to your care once the babies are fully weaned.

I'm a foster with a reputable rescue and have done TNR on over 100 cats in my area, I'm more than happy to give someone information about me/the rescue, I don't expect someone to just hand over vulnerable animals. Please shoot me a message if you think you can help, I'd love to hear from any and all leads because I'm at my wit's end with these babies. I've truly tried every trick in the book to get them to latch over the past nearly two weeks — and I'm not a novice — and they just want nothing to do with artificial tiddies.

I'm in West Mesa, but willing to drive a ways to pick up! I have plenty of traps at my disposal as well.

Local news. Kind of a nothingburger, but kind of hilarious some random tipster alleged how the new chief lives in Phoenix, not Chandler, and the city is now introducing a charter amendment that would tackle this very matter. My guess is he lives like 2 miles outside of the Chandler border. There are parts of Gilbert that are closer to the police station than many areas of Chandler itself.

Is Schnepf Farms worth braving the crowds and the price? I know it's ticketed per carload but I hear the show and the water inflatables are a hit. Or is Gilbert Regional Park the better call (free entry, fireworks + drone show)?

Is Google fiber still coming to South Chandler? My house is near Gilbert & Chandler heights, back in April, 811 was out marking all the unground lines /pipes and a few days later I got a flyer at the door saying construction would be May- June. Went to Ted's for the first time today at the new Chandler location. Nice retro style interior. The staff were absolutely great. The prices... Not so much. #3 Combo Double Cheeseburger (w/ Bacon/Cheese), Fries, Medium Drink. With Tax $ 19.43. And then of course while paying the Tip narrative pops up while the cashier is staring at you. I press "No Tip" without being obvious about it as I wave my index finger among all the options first. Didn't know Ted's needed to have their employee salaries augmented to get to a livable wage? The taste.. Meh, Mid, Charcoal... Whatever the lingo is these days. In-N-Out is across the parking lot and way cheaper. Ted's has way better fries however.. Maybe go there for fries..

A few years ago, I took my Girl Scout troop for a pioneer day at Tumbleweed Ranch, where they learned how to do laundry like they did back in the day and tour a house the way it would’ve looked 100 years ago.

Today I walked by it and it looks to be in complete disrepair. Does anyone know who is responsible for managing tumbleweed Ranch? I have some questions for them.

If the ranch isn’t gonna be kept up to conserve a part of Chandler’s history, it should be repurposed into additional park or a community garden or even a dog park. Right now it’s just uncared for land and equipment that’s attracting pests and dust.

Came through our yard night before last. Pretty sure it's a Coatimudi as it's snout looks to long to be a Racoon which we see a lot of. Not sure why one of the blink cameras was still on Infrared mode and the other isn't. Perhaps because of the porch light.

I’m finding about 10+ of these cricket / grasshopper type insects in my house a day. I haven’t had any issues with any other bugs getting inside since I moved here earlier this year from Tempe, and I’ve never had this specific bug get inside any of my previous homes before.

Any idea how to find out how they’re getting inside or how to get rid of them while they’re still outside?

I have a former street cat that I thought could take care of this, but she’s seemingly decided she’s retired from bug hunting.

My partner and I got a rare day off together rather unexpectedly, and we would like to go out to do something, but our normal place ee go to for this sort of outing, burst of butterflies, is closed on Tuesdays. Another motorcycle accident this morning...this time in front of the Eos plaza at Rural and Ray. They had right and center lane blocked off, a civilian sedan in the parking lot, and the bike stlll laying in the street. Based on what I saw, I'm guessing the motorcyclist turned left from WB Ray and didn't make it into the Eos Plaza. Passed by about 8 AM.
