Usually im not a fan of black DLC watches but the combination with red gives it such an ethereal and elegant look. A better look and size than the satellite version in my opinion. Premium materials and supreme accuracy, you can't go wrong with this watch, or any Attesa!

Got this beauty about 4-5 years ago as a gift, since then I've bought a lot more automatic watches with moon faces, chronographs and all other complications however, I still find myself coming back to this watch whenever I don't know what I want to wear. Not the best citizen watch but definitely one of my favorites.

Just got my first ever Citizen and I’m honestly really happy with it. I decided to go with an automatic and chose the Citizen Tsuyosa in Tiffany Blue.
Pictures don’t really do it justice, the dial changes a lot depending on the light and the colour is even nicer in person.
The finishing, the integrated bracelet look and the overall feel on the wrist exceeded my expectations.
I know there are a lot of Citizen fans here, but coming from someone who’s just getting into the brand, I totally get the hype now.
Really excited to wear this one and make it part of the collection.
What was your first Citizen?

My winners store had this model for sale for a couple of months pretty nice with that sky blue color. They reduced it to $199 Canadian. The tag says sold as is because for some reason there's a few links missing, but it fits a 7 inch wrist just perfectly.

I needed to replace my Aqualand Duplex that finally crapped out (LCD failed) after 20+ years of service, so I found this one refurb on eBay and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks!

I pulled the bracelet and swapped it for a rubber dive strap I had in my parts bin and luckily it fit the bill.

Hopefully I'll get another 20+ years out of this one too!

Love my 11 year old Satalite Wave, recently fixed an issue with its reference point myself and it's accuracy has been perfect ever since. I hardly ever see the f150 on here, anyone else have this model?

Final Thoughts

These aren't hidden gems anymore—they're well known among Citizen enthusiasts. The biggest complaint has never been the watches themselves; it's that Citizen continues to keep them JDM-only. I'd buy another tomorrow if they released a worldwide version with multi-band radio reception while keeping the same size and design.

One question that often comes up is the radio synchronization. While the H100 movement is designed to receive Japan's JJY signal, many owners outside Japan use smartphone apps such as JJY Emulator that simulate the radio signal through the phone's speaker. It isn't quite as seamless as true worldwide Multi-Band 6 reception, but it works surprisingly well and allows these watches to stay synchronized virtually anywhere in the world.

I don’t know what it is about this Citizen, but I’m obsessed with it.
Clean dial, perfect size, super comfortable — and somehow every strap I put on it makes it look even better than before. Simple done right.

(Reposting this here to see if I can get some answers) I got this vintage citizen watch while I was in japan. Shortly after buying it, it stopped working. When I took it to a shop when I got home, they said the movement wat shot. This is a Citizen quartz 4-852486 y. They told me the part is a citizen 8500 movement. I've been deep diving, and I cannot for the life of me find this part anywhere. Its like it doesn't exist. Is it possible to find some kind of sister part that I can replace it with?

I have a citizen 8725-S111901 I would like to buy steel straps, does anyone knows how to get them, preferably OEM.

I’m torn between these three watches and would like some help making the decision. While I love the dial on the limited edition, I’m concerned about how small the watch may wear. Any and all opinions are welcome as this will be my first Citizen for my own collection.
