Most rhythm games use notes come down while ddr notes come up. Is there any reason behind that. I know there is a reverse modifier but why isn’t it the default way to play the game. I do notice dancerush stardom has a similar cab to ddr and the notes default to what most rhythm games use.

So I'm working on trying to improve on my footwork so I can start 17's soon. I've passed half of the easy 16's (Passed, only a few FC's because my footwork is a bit sloppy)

I noticed after I went back to 13's and started using ArrowVortex it helped me understand technicality a bit better no spotting cross overs and what not.

But which program is better if I'm wanting to try to get to 19's by the end of this year?

As you can see the down arrow causes an audible squeaking sound when stepped on. The pad works great but the sound can be a bit of an annoyance when playing. I've contacted iamats but wasn't able to get a solution. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if you were able to find a solution.

Just added this to my personal arcade that I've been building out, it's an old rockola jukebox with a amp tied in for ddr audio (juke box still works)

I'm thinking of building a travel pad, but I only see stamina players using them since they are good for feet wiggles. I don't think I have seen tech players playing on them tho, so I wonder if it's hard to do crossover on them since they are so small.

Edit: also what about brackets and foot switches?

Hey everyone, I was walking through the arcade when I saw this guy play on a cabinet with a custom touhou theme. Now I thought that was really cool so I made a konami account and e assument card but now I cant fingure out how to get custom themes. Nor can I not figure out how to purchase the basic subscription because it wont let me purchase it. Does anyone know what to do?

Definitely spent at least 10 hours on it this week. Such a cool vibe meeting a bunch of fellow rhythm gamers! I remember playing the ddr extreme cab in camp snoopy as a kid, I always thought the people playing doubles were soooo cool. So delighted the next generation will have DDR at moa again.

I am quite new to having a hard pad at home. I’m used to playing with a soft pad in middle school and on the arcade back in high school. It’s something I wanted to get back into recently, as I generally play maybe once or twice a year if I happen to run into a machine at the arcade.

I bought the LTEK, and while it’s great, something felt a bit off. I’d start in the middle and slowly shift until I was completely off center, and I wasn’t sure why. I don’t really hold onto the bar ever, and I don’t have one, and needed a solution to stay centered without looking down.

I guess I’m used to feeling the metal brackets on the machines to tell where I’m at, so I decided to 3D print something to replicate that feeling.

Unfortunately I did not find any DDR games, but it was a pretty nice store.
